We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Napper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Finding the sweet spot where my talent and passion overlap with a true need in the world is the reason behind my success and anyone’s success in my opinion. Sure, there are a thousand nuances that come into play with each and every brand, but at the end of the day, if you’re not serving a need or providing something that people are willing to pay for, you’ll never find success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In 2016, I was an overwhelmed CEO running 4 businesses simultaneously: a PR + branding agency, a handbag line, a co-working space for creatives, and an Airbnb. It was a bit over-ambitious. But I have zero regrets because every lesson I learned the hard way was an opportunity to authentically teach other creative women a smarter way to build and run a business. Five years ago, I invested in a coach, removed the distractions, raised my prices, developed systems, and my creative agency flourished. I also said goodbye to things that weren’t serving me, dedicated time to my yoga teaching certificate, and re-structured my agency, allowing me the freedom and flexibility I dreamt about when I started this entrepreneurial journey in 2011. I wanted to get back to having time to go to yoga class, tend to my garden, travel, and spend quality time with friends and family. By 2018, things were trending upward. I reached my freedom metrics, and the solid foundation I built allowed me to expand with ease when the world was shaken in 2020. I answered a calling to lead other creative women looking for more clarity, stability, and joy, and I’ve never felt more aligned in my life. I walk the walk because I’ve been in their shoes, and I believe we are constant uplevelers in motion. Now, I bring awareness to brands and elevate brand authority with my self-titled PR agency, and through my program the Upleveler Society, I help overwhelmed women find monetary and energetic freedom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, we’d wake up and make a beautiful but simple breakfast: pour-over coffee from Honest Roasters, toasted Lillian St Bread with butter and local honey, some fresh fruit. Then, we’d put on our hiking clothes and head to a local park: Radnor Lake State Park or Percy Werner Park for some fresh air and gentle movement. We’d lunch at Anzie Blue in Hillsboro Village and do a little window shopping after lunch. We’d regroup with a hot tub dip at the house just in time to refresh and get dressed for dinner. As the sun sets, we’d head to the rooftop at E3 and have a glass of wine by the fire, then go down to the second floor for dinner. Sunday morning we’d start the day with a leisurely brunch at RH Nashville Cafe, then drool over the dreamy interiors all around us inside Restoration Hardware. A facial at Prism Face Lab and an early evening yoga flow at Bend and Zen Hot Yoga will be the perfect way to round out the weekend and leave us feeling refreshed for another week ahead! Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother assured me from a very young age that I should follow my heart when it came to my career, and I’m so very grateful she gave me that wide-open permission and space to explore my passions. I also have several mentors who have played pivotal roles in my career: Caley Alyssa and Julie Solomon. I have a few entrepreneur friends who I cannot imagine doing any of this without walking beside – Rebecca Rebouche, Vanessa Vanes, and Shanna Tyler, to name a few. There are a few books that have shaped my journey: The E-Myth by Michael Gerber, Essentialism by Greg McKeown, and You are a Badass by Jen Sincero.
