We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
For some reason in my life I have always cared what other people think of me.

In the entertainment industry it’s challenging to find that divide of not caring what others think about me when it quite literally determines my success, monetary value, and future work because of the industry I have chosen. It’s something I still struggle with to this day as I’m sure many other professionals in my industry do too.

I’ve learned to just give everything I do 110%, do it from a place of love/light, and just let the cards fall where they may, rather than stress about if people like this or that about my performance. If I like it and am happy with it then that is all that matters.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been acting, singing, and creating art of all forms since I was about 3 years old. I moved out to Hollywood straight out of high school and attained my BFA in Performing Arts from AMDA. From there I’ve been auditioning and have attained my manager Chelsea Makela at Discover Management and my agency Rage Talent.

This industry is definitely not easy, but if you have a strong backbone and a strong desire to share your art with the world like me, then you can make it!

I think if you focus more on your art and why you are making your art, rather than getting wrapped up with fame, followers, and attention then that’s when you will have struck the true gold.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would grab lunch at the Four Seasons outdoor Cabana Restaurant and then head to Malibu and have a beach day. I would then either have dinner at Geoffreys or Moonshadows off the PCH. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
