Meet Narde: Musician & Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Narde and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Narde, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I stand, on the belief that ‘where there is no risk, there is no reward’. It seems simple right? Well, I’m here to tell you, it is uncomfortable more than anything. Embrace that! Really put yourself in the headspace to want to accept challenges and solve them everyday. Prepare yourself for ‘lessons’, rather than failure. It’s never failure; unless you quit. Truly. In order to become the best version of you, put yourself in position to experience and practice the things that align with what your ‘highest self’ looks like. Risk is exposing yourself to a new situation rather than just remaining in the comfort zone. The more new positions you are in, the more opportunity you will have to excel, in the situations you prepare for. Opportunity + preparation = success. I had to train myself to get really familiar with the feeling of being uncomfortable. I had to leave the things that did not reflect where my highest self wanted to be. This has been a huge part of why I am where I am and headed towards where I’m meant to be. If you’re a plane and you know you belong in the sky, then you will first have to put your self in the right gear and then propel yourself forward and eventually lift yourself up, and fly.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is a mixture of genre-blending production mixed with melodies that are out of this world. I pride myself on new but timeless creations. I am living in LA, recording music, creating art and writing because I allowed myself to believe in myself. It was not easy every step of the way and of course I have many stories that made me into a better version of myself. Ultimatley, I’ve learned a lot and I’m learning more everyday. I’ve learned to trust my gut, let my intuition guide me and always remain in my power. Also, hard work is a must, you can have talent all day long but your work ethic will really catapult you to the next level. I want the world to overstand that I am on a journey that is never-ending, sonically I just want you to feel the vibrations and take some powerful experiences away from it.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a simple person, I would take them to the beach. Probably Palos Verdes or Malibu. Something secluded and just beautiful.Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am a lover first and foremost. I love to give credit where it’s due & affirm the people who pour into me. With this opportunity, I would love to give a huge Shoutout to the one and only, Outkast, specifically the album “Aquemini”. Now, hear me out, there are people of course who support me, my passion and my skills daily. I can’t ever overlook my mom and my amazing partner, King Chip, who push me non-stop to always do what I love. Now, Outkast on the other hand is one of the reasons why I started creating in the first place. Their ability to create from such an authentic, genre-blending, funkadelic feel-good place, soul churning place has always spoken to my whole soul. They pushed the boundary of popular music and that’s exactly what I intend to offer the music space as well.
