We had the good fortune of connecting with Ibrahim Genis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ibrahim, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
When I begin any endeavor, I would like to feel sincere, calm, and have inner peace rather than focusing on the success I might or might not have. Also, I like to act fast, be myself, and find my unique way of doing it rather than adapting to other people’s way.

What should our readers know about your business?
Founded in 2000 in Istanbul, Audiogen High-End specializes in establishing and marketing high-end audio brands in specific territories, as well as designing audio systems for particular music and spaces.

We are the official distributor of esteemed high-end audio brands Acapella Audio, Verity Audio, Wavac, PS Audio, and Crystal Cable in Turkey.

Opened in 2015, our Toronto branch serves as the Canada distributor of Wavac Audio, Diapason Audio, the German Physiks, and Toronto dealer of Verity Audio, and Devore Fidelity.

Opened in October 2018, our branch in Los Angeles, CA undertakes the U.S. distribution of the prestigious Wavac Audio, Tune Audio and Diapason.

Like any other business, the pandemic period is difficult for us, but we have always remained positive as we do what we love. Instead of slowing down, we will be trying new products and branching out into importing designer furniture. Please stay tuned for the unique pieces that we will curate.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love DTLA, Abbot Kinney, Manhattan Beach, Larchmont Village, West Hollywood, and Silverlake. As far as the city’s culinary offerings, I love to discover off-beaten paths and try new tastes like Dino’s Chicken and Larchmont Village Deli’s sandwiches that they make on a fresh baguette.

I also like LA’s well known destinations like Taix in Echo Park and Albright in Santa Monica.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have always felt Nurettin Özaltın and Cüneyt Genç’s sincere support.
