We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Nichols and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Dentistry has a bad reputation, let’s face it.
What most people don’t realize about our industry however is how much we care about our patients.
Not ALL dentists want to make a quick buck. Most of us have spent our entire lives dedicated to learning how to care for patients optimally. That desire doesn’t go out the window when presented with financial opportunities.
We genuinely want to see our patients thrive with oral and systemic health.
We earnestly want to make honest treatment recommendations and delivery quality care.
We truly want to serve people in the same way we would serve our own mother or father.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our office is not your average dental office.
We are focused on comprehensive patient care with an emphasis on customer service.
We are not volume-focused.
We aim to providing transparent, compassionate, evidence-based care.
I’m most excited about the heart behind our work. We know we don’t over-diagnose. We provide honest treatment recommendations and let the patient decide what to do.
We stand behind our work and our recommendations.
It hasn’t always been easy. We’ve faced a ton of adversity. But we’re clear on our values and stay committed to living those out, week after week.
That means we aren’t the dental office for everyone, and that’s okay.
We’re committed to serving those who are put in our path.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Woo! That’s a long trip. I’d probably take them down to Newport/Costa Mesa and spend time at Chalk Performance Training, followed by Earthbar for a protein shake, then head to the beach! Followed by a tour of some of the best Mexican cuisines in the area like Playa Mesa, etc. I’m a big foodie so the week would probably be a taste-test of all of the amazing food So Cal has to offer, with a sprinkling in of various fitness and beach activities to keep things balanced. Of course, some corporate worship would be mixed in as well.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God – for making all of this possible and course correcting my life. My mentors – past and present, for shepherding and helping me narrow my focus.
