We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani Quinn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Imani, what do you attribute your success to?
Listening to my intuition and following my divine path is what lead to the success that I have seen within my career.
I am an artist, author, speaker and quantum oracle. I co-hosted the late Woke Mystix podcast for 2.5 years on spirituality and astrology, and co-authored Astrology SOS with Hardie Grant Publishing. Becoming a healer wasn’t something that I had desired for myself but it was surely written in the stars. My mother is a healer so I grew up with spirituality in the home and used it as a means for moving through life for daily guidance. When I sat in a kundalini class in 2018 and felt like I had started spinning on a merry go round and my spirit guides kept screaming at me, “you are a healer” I got the message. I started doing healing sessions and intuitive readings, which lead to the formation of The Woke Mystix podcast with my cohost and my initiation into Quantum healing.
Quantum healing is a bridge between the working mechanics of Quantum Physics and the healing elements of consciousness through the human experience. Through Quantum healing you can manifest what it is that you want within your life, and call in your purpose. My spirit guides, through intuitive channeling kept telling me, “you need to write a quantum book!” And I knew better than to not listen, so I started writing the book. Upon writing the book I came across a publisher by chance. She asked for a pitch of ideas, though a quantum book was not what they were looking for, The Woke Mystix ended up with a book deal and that became Astrology SOS.
The universe will always tell you what needs to be done and they will guide you right to the front door of where you need to be. In the meantime it’s important to put in the work, so that you remain ready and stay open. You never know what way the door might present itself to you so keep your perspective on that quantum timeline.
Quantum is how I move through the world, it is how I am lead to the places and projects with which I need to be and it is how the right people find me. Quantum allows me to be a conduit, to help heal and to serve. Being an artist is what keeps my cup filled and overflowed. I was divinely guided to help bring The Woke Mystix a book deal and representation through the workings of quantum, frequency and alignment. I work with clients on quantum healing, energy and frequency work and mediumship.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I was raised to always prioritize quality of life. The journey may be long, but it can always be done with peace in your heart, love in your arms and abundance in your mind.
I start every morning with a ritual:
Turn on the peaceful guitar playlist
Add water and orange essential oil to the diffuser
read my intentions and light my candle, honor my guides
meditate and journal
drink my loose leaf black tea
And we should always do as the europeans do, once it’s afternoon:
drink a glass of sauvignon blanc on a hot day, and a glass of petit syrah on a cool evening.
Whether a vacation or your daily routine infusing it with connection to the divine is so important to stay mentally, emotionally and spiritually strong.
As for going out, I am a huge wine fan so I would go to AOC Wine if I was on the West Side, and Tilda Wine if I was on the East side. I would also take myself or any friend to Pilot at The Hoxton Hotel for a staycation or just a nice view of downtown LA on the roof top while eating their grain bowl.
If you need a bit of nature, I take the Malibu coastline for the healing ocean, and the Los Angeles Crest highway past Flintridge for mountain views and starry skies with a vibe playlist.
The road less travelled is the one that lives in your heart, so connect with it and follow it above any other advice or notion, it will always lead you to where you need to be.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother is my first connection to the divine and the guiding light to my path. Carolyn Quinn is a healer, visual artist, dancer, entrepreneur and my mother. She has taught me everything I know and paved the way for me to become who I am. She believes in me in all the ways that count and together we make, The Quinn Women.
