We had the good fortune of connecting with Zack Teperman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zack, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Life to me is all about taking risks. Not stupid risks, but thought-out risks that may just work out in your favor. When I started my company ZTPR in 2014, it was risky. I was leaving behind a guaranteed paycheck which helped me live a comfy lifestyle. But I wanted more. So, I took a risk and went out on my own. A lot of people are happy and content with playing it safe, and there is nothing wrong with that. But it is the ones who take risks that get the “bigger rewards”. Everyone is different though. It’s one thing to dream about success, wait for it, put it off for another day or hope it’ll eventually happen, but if you take a risk and just do it, you will achieve it, or at least gain some valuable lessons for your next “risk”. I never decrease my goals, just increase my efforts and plan forward… risks and all.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Since I created ZTPR in 2014 I have helped scale unknown companies/products to millions in revenue, worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment/music, and helped billionaires innovate and change the world with their ideas and companies. I am proud that ZTPR has also gone worldwide with staff all over the world, as we represent people in Australia, the UK, Germany, Holland, China, Israel, Canada and more!

I am all about thinking outside of the box and nothing is basic about the way my firm does PR. We represent all types of people and products… representing just 1 kind/type is boring!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
After doing the typical tourist stuff like Runyon Canyon, the Walk of Fame and Beverly Hills / Santa Monica Pier, I’d take them to some hidden gems on the beach in Malibu, or for a some jet skiing in Marina Del Rey or water flyboarding in Lake Elisnore / wine tasting in Temcula.

I am a big fan of Soho House or London West Hollywood to get away from the public, or just some random fun at Saddle Ranch or Cabos (2 for 1 drinks are great)!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dedicate where I am in life to all my teachers, co-workers, friends, clients, ex-girlfriends and doubters/haters. Everyone has helped me be and become who I am today. Everything has happened for a reason in life to lead me to this point.
