We had the good fortune of connecting with Elodie Attias and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elodie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our company is called The HeartWorkers. We (Elodie Attias & Aurélie Brisac), based in Paris and Los Angeles, co-founded The HeartWorkers when we felt a calling to share our healing tools with the world. Today we design online courses to awaken people’s heart, mind, spirit and joy and inspire them to become who they want to be.
Our two personalities are very different and totally complementary. Quickly after meeting each other in Los Angeles in 2015, we became coaches for one another and we started documenting and codifying the tools we were using to solve our daily challenges with humour, joy & creativity. We then launched our brand The Heartworkers. At first, it was a mix of workshops, meditations and sound therapy before it became online courses & workshops & retreats.
Experiencing life with a conscious mind and an open heart inspires the work I am doing. It is not easy considering the current era we live in, it is quite the opposite.
Quieting our mind to understand who we are, loving ourselves, developing our ability to become great observers, and learning to strengthen our intuitive abilities… is not exactly what we are learning at school, yet it can be learnt.
That’s why I decided to become a certified life coach and to launch The HeartWorkers with my business partner Aurelie Brisac to be able to support people’s capacity to learn, access freedom and open themselves to all the opportunities life has to offer.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I was raised in France, graduated in Economics and Management (Paris IX Dauphine, France) and obtained a MBA (Bocconi University, Milan, Italy).
Then a miracle happened. I won the Green card Lottery and at the medical check up required by the embassy, I discovered I had bone cancer. I had to fight bone cancer during a year of chemotherapy. In my first book ‘The Lucky Card’, I write about my experience, showing how I also overcame suffering and fear through imagination and laughter.
After my cancer, I decided to start working in fashion in my family business Attias Group. After few years I realized i was not where I was supposed to be. I had survived a cancer but I was not feeling alive. I decided to change my life completely and start again in the United States, and soon after I realized that human evolution was my passion. Following the success of my first book “The Lucky Card” which tells how the American Green Card Lottery saved her life, I published another book “We are Heroes”, which takes the reader on a spiritual journey to find his/her true self.

I have written a screenplay about my life story and I am now coaching individuals, couples and groups of people, to restore their confidence in themselves, help them embrace changes, improve their listening, observation skills and strengthen their intuitive abilities.
Another passion is to help human beings feel more aligned, present and centered thanks to relaxation practices like sound healing, meditations and Restorative yoga sessions.
I am indeed a Certified Life coach / Intuitive & Sound healer / Restorative yoga practitioner
I am proud as I allowed myself to let go of my past with its truths, assessments, let go of the expectations others had for me. I seeked freedom and I am finding it each day a little bit more. I am also doing my best to share my learnings and let myself be vulnerable knowing that’s the only way to connect with other people’s hearts.
With our coaching organization The HeartWorkers, Aurelie & I we want to help people find their authentic self, free themselves from reacting or judging – play with their energy – understand what emotions are telling them and connect with others authentically. We wish to inspire as many people as possible and help them realized that 2 hearts trying to understand each other are more intelligent than 2 brains trying to be right.
Our purpose is to spread love & empathy & high energy so that together we can awaken to a higher level of consciousness and vibrate more love energy on Earth.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my family always very supportive and encouraging, to my friends around the world and to all the people who have challenged me on my path. They inspired me to take risks and allowed me to grow and gained new perspective each time. I am thankful for the trials I passed through …
Through my challenges, and through the palet of my emotions, I keep learning who I am, I keep evolving, seeing life differently, expanding my consciousness and opening my heart each time even more.
I am grateful for life, for my guides, for the people that have encouraged me to remain myself with my uniqueness and differences. I’m going to keep living authentically, freely, and keep dreaming.
