We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Everything I achieved in my life was cause I once took a risk. When I was 21 yo I took my first risk. I left everything behind, my family, my friends, my job and moved to a different country on the other side of the globe. I was scared but I wanted it so bad, so I took a chance and that’s how I ended up in LA. After 4 years living in LA I risked again. I had a boring office job, good paycheck but I was extremely unhappy. And I realized unless I change something I would spend my whole life like this. So I took another risk. I quit my job, started growing my instagram and looking for a modeling gigs. I didn’t know if I would succeed or not but I had to try. Now I’m here where I am. I’m modeling full time, working on my own schedule, making money on social media and traveling the world.
Always risk, life is too short.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I had a dream, and one day I decided to make a dream my reality. I always wanted to model but I was scared. That I’m not good enough, I’m not tall enough, I’m not experienced enough. But all I had to do is to believe in myself and do everything I can to make it happen.
I started growing my instagram year and a half ago, right when when quarantine started. I had a lot of free time on my hands and I thought why not to use it right. I had 2K followers and no clue what I’m doing. So I just started posting every day, taking pictures every moment I had, messaging big pages asking for promotion and doing shoutouts with other models. It was working. I had 20k followers in in 2 months and 50k in 4 months! It was crazy.. I started getting first brand deals, paid shoots and business collabs. I never went back to my office job after that.
Now I’m modeling full time, making money off my Instagram, and I have a few business projects coming.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in LA, it’s one of the most touristy and exciting cities to visit in the world. Beach is the first place I would take my friend. There are so many of them all so gorgeous. We can take a walk on a Venice Boardwalk or take a scenic route to Malibu. We can even drive Laguna beach in Orange County with it’s crystal blue water. Then we’ll visit Santa Monica pier and take a ride on the famous ferris wheel with a view of the ocean and the city. That view you’ll never forget.
We’ve not even been to Hollywood yet. Once we’re in Hollywood, Madame Tussauds, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and Universal Studios are among the many highlights.
When it’s a rainy day we should do a museum day. Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Broad and the Griffith Observatory. oh, and the Getty Center, yes, we’ve got to go to the Getty Center.
If we have time we must of course go to Disneyland!
And if it’s a Christmas time we’ll stop by the most magical place on Christmas in LA – the Grove
