Meet Twitch Valentino | Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Twitch Valentino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Twitch, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I have been fortunate enough to start my career off with a boom. The most important factor behind success for me was focus. I have been able to keep my head down and work from the shadows with laser focus. The way I see it, If every single does better than your last you’re moving in the right direction. You have to posses the ability to make a list in the morning of every thing you want to accomplish in your day. you’ll be surprised to see how much you can get done in a day. Focus is the essence of accomplishment, make sure to use it wisely.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Contrary to popular belief my art is more than my music. If you were to ask people that really knew me from my younger years they would tell you that I was always a creative. Whether it was fashion, music, or simply the way of life I live, I always have been a creative. Im not gonna lie and say that I was always the greatest because I wasn’t. However what truly sets me apart is my drive and work ethic. if people understood that I worked an overnight job that was low maintenance from 11 at night to 7 in the morning so that I could send emails and write songs for 6-7 hours every day at work, they would start to see the method to my madness. At the end of the day most people aren’t willing to put in the background work and would rather do all the fun stuff. Artists want to record songs but don’t want to invest in themselves financially. Artists would rather buy a 30,000 dollar watch than put out three, five thousand dollar professional videos and promote them. The sad truth is there are hundreds of thousands of people on this planet that can sing but there is only two ways you can become a star, and that is hard work and luck. If I could offer any advice, I would tell aspiring entrepreneurs to be willing to do the work other people aren’t because its the dirtiest work that makes the most successful outcomes.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles is a very crazy place. I would for sure take them to Daves Hot Chicken and Kyochon in Ktown first for sure. Other things I think they would enjoy in the city are the taco trucks, anything alongside of the PCH, and if the chargers are in season we would make sure to get some front row seats at Sofi. late nights always are a good vibe to hit the local rooftops and clubs because la is always going hard. I also would likely take them to see the views of the city from Griffith Observatory.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Theres allot of people who deserve my praise. For starters outside of music, my family friends and girlfriend for holding me down like no other. Inside the music I would like to shoutout my team for helping me build Twitch Valentino into the beast that it is becoming. In specific a few people I would like to shoutout are my manager Pat, photographer Josh, Producers Grady Franci$ and Skgotthesauce, and my recording artists and producers I manage for never failing to push and inspire me.
