We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqualyn Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqualyn, how does your business help the community?

By Inspecting Homes in my local community I am able to find defects, safety hazards, and concerns that impede on ideal habitation of the home they live in or will live in soon. I am empowering the community with my work. I offer home maintenance advice and options for current and future repairs.

By conducting Home Healing and Sound Bath services I am working with my community to reduce stress and allow people to enjoy some much needed me time. I love the work I do!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I own a Home Inspection and Home Healing business. I am in the 1% of Women Home Inspectors. We’re a rare breed but completely capable of going above and beyond to get the job done right. Having real-world experience buying and selling homes, I am empathetic and can relate to my clients and what they are currently going through. Also, my experience as a Property Manager has allowed me to communicate repairs in an easy way.

I have physically supervised most repairs a home goes through, not limited to, plumbing, roofing, and electrical.

I love what I do! What sets me apart from others is my positive attitude and solution-based reporting. I show my clients my findings on-site and communicate clearly. I empower my clients by providing free Home Maintenance books for homebuyers. I am thorough, mindful, and reliable. I have 5 stars in my Home Inspection software, Spectora which is the best Home Inspection software currently in the industry with the best customer service. I love to surround myself with great folks and it has been amazing working with realtors and buyers alike.

The Home Healing component of my business is dear to my heart. I am able to help my clients transition into their new homes with ease, positive intentions, and stress-free. I also help current homeowners and renters who are going through a significant transition in life. For example, recovery from sickness, death, move-in, move-outs, etc.

As a Certified Energetic Protection Professional and Certified Sound Healer, I provide Sound Bath Meditation for my clients in the Los Angeles area. I am launching my Virtual Services this Spring and am excited to reach people worldwide. I currently have a weekly Sound Bath at a local brewery on Monday nights. Sharing my love for sound baths with my community is a dream come true! As a life-long learner and consistent searcher for personal excellence. I continued my training this year with 1-1 Gong Training with a Gong Master in Los Angeles. I have broadened my gong skills and improved my offerings to my clients. I also play with a great group of women Gong Players in Long Beach.

I have created a business that fulfills all of my passions and dreams and can be of service to so many Angelinos and beyond!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I’d first take them to the beach. I live near Long Beach where there is easy free parking and convenient beach access. I’d also take them all over the South Bay. We’d eat at Old Tony’s in Redondo Beach, Mashawi Grill in Lawndale, Frito Misto & The Source Cafe in Hermosa Beach, and of course In-N-Out. We’d shop at Del Amo Mall. We may even go to the indoor trampoline park so we can be like kids, jump and let loose.

We would shop in Downtown LA, Visit a Bikram yoga studio, hike in Malibu and have a spa day. And, of course I’d give them a Private Sound Bath in my Sound Sanctuary in Compton, CA.

Also, a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags would be nice!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my mom, Darlene P. Williams. The miles she drove to help me pursue my dance career deserve a medal of honor. Her dedication to excellence is inspiring. As a single mom she showed me what hard work is. She’s a selfless server of others making her life work being an advocate for the developmentally disabled and elderly. She has a heart of gold and I aspire to be as close to the divine as she is. I’d also like to shoutout Travissteen Ackles, my grandmother. In High School, she was like a second mother to me. She took me in when I decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue my professional dance dreams. She has sacrificed time and energy to make me feel comfortable in her home. We shared a lot of special moments, one being watching tv in the mornings before I walked to school. Despite the age gap she really worked hard to connect and support me. Having beautiful, strong, kind, and resourceful women in life has given me the foundation I needed to reach and continue reaching my goals. My Dad, Robert Jackson is an entrepreneur, hard worker, a man of true integrity, he inspires me deeply in those ways. I have been shaped by my family and am grateful for all of their contributions in my personal and professional endeavors.
