We had the good fortune of connecting with Trica aka “Teetothe” and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trica aka “Teetothe”, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Yes! When I think about work-life balance now, timing, reflection and grace come to mind and how it’s helped me find my inner peace and happiness, especially over the last year.I’ve also come to realize that work-life balance is one of those things that is never quite achieved. Life happening around us is always changing and evolving with or without our consent. We are always evaluating our daily routines to find new techniques and strategies to improve the quality of our life. Especially when you are ambitious as I am! Nonetheless, when you are able to trust the timing of your experiences, reflect on what you are learning through those experiences and give yourself the gift of grace, it is then you begin to step into your greatness.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
First and foremost, I am a wife, creativepreneur & self care enthusiast. I co-own a sports business with my husband and we co-founded a nonprofit sports mentoring organization. I am the creator of BRNCRTV.COM , a unisex lifestyle streetwear brand as well as the creative producer of THESOULTRYGROUP.COM

However, I am most excited about my new personal blog TEETOTHELIFESTYLE.COM
Here is where I get to share all my life lessons, advice, tips, resources and experiences to inspire and motivate others; especially women like myself who are building their brands and business all while in pursuit of a happy, healthy and balanced lifestyle. I also create personal growth digital resources as well as my insight on self care and living a plant-based vegan lifestyle.
I’ve got a lot to manage and balance in my day to day as an entrepreneur and some days are more challenging than others but I appreciate every high and low. I feel like you must go through some “thangs”, have some setbacks, have your soil unearthed and see what you are made of. I am overcoming new challenges by focusing on daily improvements and lately, I’ve been spending less time obsessing over each goal and spending more time and energy on optimizing my systems and processes to reach my goals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you are hanging with me for the week, don’t expect too much adventure lol. Instead, we will probably spend the whole week catching up dining at one of my many favorite vegan eateries around the city. Jackfruit Cafe, Cafe Gratitude, Tocaya and Crossroads are some of my favorites right now! We’d probably go for a hike or two at Runyon Canyon or Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook at the Culver City Steps. Then stop by the grocery store to make some fresh squeezed juice and then show you how to cook up one of my favorite homemade vegan meals. We would definitely catch some sights, do some shopping and maybe a little roller skating at Venice and Santa Monica boardwalk.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My support circle who have continuously shown up for me throughout this journey we call life is what keeps me going. They are my close friends, family and my husband.
