Meet Evan Noel Cheurfa | Business owner and mother

We had the good fortune of connecting with Evan Noel Cheurfa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Evan Noel, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Being a morning person. I have always been one, and becoming a mother sort of forces you to be anyway. But I think of mornings as my time to get as much done as I possibly can before I burn out. I have more clarity, energy and drive in the mornings. I appreciate that about myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s difficult for me to pick one thing to highlight because my time is split into a million different pieces as a mother.
I’m most proud of being able to say that I started my business single-handedly, 2 weeks after having a baby, with a two year old running circles around me. It just made sense to me at the time, despite being incredibly overwhelmed, I felt I needed to feel that at the time to tap into my potential.
I have learned there is no shame in asking for help, though I certainly haven’t mastered the act of doing so! It’s a work in progress.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m an incredibly active person, by choice. My first plan of the day is to always exercise! Getting a good work out really sets the tone for me each day and gives me some extra pep in my step. We’d start by taking a Corepower Yoga hot sculpt class. After that, we’re keeping our diet clean and light. Definitely hitting up Nekter or Urth Caffe for smoothies or salads. I typically allocate my youngest daughter’s afternoon nap time to get Myomi Skin orders fulfilled or any other business I need to handle.
Leaning into the evening, we would go to El Carmen, a wonderful Mexican restaurant on 3rd street that a dear friend introduced me to. We would either finish the night there or go to EP&LP rooftop for late night drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father is an important force in why I am the way I am. I had to learn to be this way though, one can either push themselves to be a “go getter” or fall into the pool of laziness. Whether I had his positive influence or not, it was and is up to me to wake up each day and set my purpose. In addition, my husband’s encouragement and support never wavered. I am blessed to have him. Lastly, my sister in law was a crucial reason why I started my business and many of her ideas were the foundation of that.
