We had the good fortune of connecting with Kev Chino’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kev, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic-creative style career approach ultimately as a natural style of expression. Growing up, there has always been a part of me that was internally outspoken. Art and creativity has always been my mindful safe haven, while also being able to share that part of myself to the world.

My mission is to inspire the masses, in return keeping myself aspired for the greater vision. Our world should be built around individuality, diversity and freedom of creative expression. As I continue to create and leave forth my works of art, there’s always a breath of fresh air knowing that other creators exist that also share my very same mission.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Kev Chino’ and I am based in the United States, Baltimore Maryland. Collaborating globally. Growing up I have always been fascinated by the idea of creating, envisioning and making things come together in a beautiful way. After experiencing social networking platforms such as Myspace, Vine, Instagram and Facebook, I’ve grown to emerge as a digital content creator and digital enthusiast. My art is usually built around self expression, creativity, empowerment and being a unique gift to the world. What sets me apart from other creators, is that I tend to set limitless heights for myself. If it is a positive outlet for me to share my journey and vision with the world, I more than likely have my hands in it some kind of way. My audience is fascinated with my approach, as you just never know what I may create next!

My most greatest achievements and fleets that I am super proud about is being featured in Rolling Stone India, selling my very first digital NFT creation to Black Lives Matter icon Misan Harriman, featured on Voice.com, as well as becoming a well-respected public figure in the space of creators. I am very excited for the future of my creative expedition and can’t wait to continue leaving my legacy here on earth. Getting to where I am today in terms of my audience, fans, supporters and productions as been a very tough challenge over the years. It became easier and easier for me to overcome these obstacles by simply staying optimistic, consistent and trusting the process.

I deeply and genuinely would love the world to know that each and every brand I have started, from WAVR, VEGA to my Kev Chino’ Museum Of Art is and always will be aimed towards spreading love, hope and aspiration for the next generation of millennials and beyond.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have tons and tons of favorite spots in the city of Baltimore, Maryland. If I had a friend visiting the area I would totally take them to visit places like the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, Fells Point Water Front, The Inner Harbor and the Gunpowder Falls State Park. These are places I visit often, to not only get a peace of mind, but also to experience the world in a greater light. Nature walks, discovering incredible art and history, and trying exciting new cultural foods. There is such a more diverse and inspirational side to the Maryland area that I believe in so many ways get overlooked. We’re more than just the Maryland Blue crab and seafood hotspot. 🙂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! I’d first and foremost like to give a shoutout to each and every creator that exist on our planet! Create, create, create, don’t stop! We make the world go round! I’d also love to give a shoutout to iconic creatives such as Virgil Abloh, Kanye West, Demna Gvasalia, Adam Mosseri, Steve Jobs, Amancio Ortega and more. Inspiring not only myself but an entire world of visionary-driven people. Huge shoutout to organizations and legendary brands such as Charity Water, Boxed Water, George Floyd Memorial Foundation, Save The Elephants, Endel Sound, Roll Dogs Apparel, Act Dont Look and more. Who all make impeccable lasting creations, that help push our culture society further.
