We had the good fortune of connecting with Anita Vita and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anita, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more? What sets you apart from the others?
I think what sets me apart from other Healers is that I am legit and can guarantee the healing results they are asking for. I am the key to healing IBS, GERD and any chronic gut illness there is. I have done it for myself and my clients. I am most proud of seeing the joy and relief on my client’s face after I have worked with them and they achieve freedom from their suffering. Can you imagine no longer taking pills, being off of strict diets, no longer depending on physicians that can’t give you answers, and saving all that time, money, and energy you put out from that type of strict healing regimen? I am more excited than ever to teach the healing art of Medical Qigong to those ready for real transformation in their health. And show them how to break away from an old paradigm and system that keeps them imprisoned. Now that’s true freedom.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy?
It was definitely not easy and it still isn’t. I am where I am today in my business because of the relationships that I have built along the way, from the communities I get to be a part of, the mentors I’ve invested in and the Tai Chi and Qigong practices that keep me centered and clear.
If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
I focussed on all the ways that I can invest in myself so that I can become the person I need to be. Cultivating a meditative practice through the modality of Medical Qigong allowed me to process my emotions and thought processes properly which supported me in upleveling and evolving to the highest aspects of myself. It dissolved the blocks that came up within myself. Staying committed to my vision to achieve the highest and greatest aspects of joy in my life was also helpful. I also surround myself with mentors and friends who feed into me, uplift me and continuously encourage me to rise, follow my dreams and hold the vision for me.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
So many! Here are my top 5 lessons:
1.There are a lot of business coaches and mentors out there. None of their strategies and teachings matter if you don’t believe in yourself.
2. Authentic relationships are the backbone to any partnership or collaboration. You must line yourself up with people who are equally yoked that share the same passion and vision as you.
3. Incorporating rest, play and pleasure is a non-negotiable practice. I can’t keep serving without first filling up my cup.
4. Business is one of the greatest Spiritual and personal development journeys I have ever experienced and is where I receive the greatest breakthroughs and growth.
5. I can’t do everything by my self. It’s difficult to grow a business alone. It really does take a village of equal leaders along your side.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I believe in a world where women have total freedom, power and control of their life. I help by healing mental, emotional and physical suffering through the art of Medical Qigong.
I worked in the medical field as a nurse for 14+ years. I’ve experienced firsthand what burnout was like but didn’t know the signs of it and didn’t know how to deal with it. I could never seem to find balance with my energy. I’ve depended on coffee and energy drinks to stay awake. And sleep aids to help me sleep. Over time the stress and tension that built up inside of myself developed into a chronic pain called IBS. I wasn’t even aware of it. I thought I just needed to find a new place to work. What I didn’t realize was that I needed to get to the root cause of the chronic pain because it stayed there wherever I went. One day I got ill again and I told myself that enough was enough and that I was going to take control of my health. I finally listened and the one thing that actually worked to eliminate the physical pain and suffering was an ancient meditation practice called Medical Qigong.
I am a Modern-Day Filipina Healer, a Master Medical Qigong Teacher and one of the best that will ever walk this planet. I am honored and privileged to walk my path and to teach this modality of healing to anyone who is ready and seeking it. If you are done living with chronic pain, dependency on pills, strict diets and treatment plans that don’t work then you’ve landed on the right page. I have done it for myself in curing IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), medication dependency and insomnia. I have done it for my clients as well and I guarantee it. This is for you if you have a true desire to break through old paradigms of thinking and being to reach true freedom from suffering and gain infinite vitality.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I travel to new places I usually do it through my stomach! Luckily my friends happen to be fellow foodies as well. So a lot of my recommendations will be related to food Get ready to eat, friends!
A Beach day is a must when coming out to Los AngelesI love taking friends to visit a small beach town called Manhattan Beach. What most people don’t know is that every beach town has its own vibe. In the South Bay, where I live, I like the modern yet laid back vibes of this city. There is something for everyone here. You can get fine dining here as well as casual relaxed fare all in one spot. Before we start there though, first thing is first and we must stop by Sidecar Donuts for their handcrafted donuts and coffee. My personal favorite is the black onyx mocha made with black onyx cacao, espresso and choice of milk and their donut of the month.
Let’s begin with a sunny coastal bike ride that spans about 10-mi along the pacific ocean on the Strand. It goes through 4 beach towns to enjoy the sea breeze and . There’s nothing like sunshine and activity with good eats along the way. My go-to places to eat at would be at any of Chef Dave Lefevre’s restaurants:
MB Post (their world famous bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits is a must) and Fishing with Dynamite (the Peruvian scallops are buttery with a melt-in-your mouth quality and the key lime pie for dessert is fire!). No visit would be complete without picking up Blue Star Donuts for yummy brioche donuts, MB Creamery for their small batch ice cream cookie sandwiches, and Susie Cakes Bakery for their homemade confectioners. The red velvet cake or cupcake- hands down the best I’ve ever had and does not disappoint.
Lastly winding down to catch the Cali sunset, tops of the day.
Sightseeing and experiences:
Griffith Park Observatory for hiking, seeing a close up view of the Hollywood Sign and L.A. city views.
Museums: The Getty and The Getty Villa (sculptures and fine art), Stroll through the beautiful manicured gardens of the Huntington Library and have HighTea there!
Spa Day is a must: Set on top of a hill in Rancho Palos Verdes, Terranea Resort, feels like a getaway but you’re still in Los Angeles. The Spa experience is one of the most amazing experiences. They are known to be the best of the best. Treatment rooms have views of the Pacific Ocean. The restaurants on site are also delicious with the sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop as well. Sometimes you may even see dolphins and whales. On a clear day you can even see Catalina Island. Sip drinks by the pool and eat at the various restaurants while watching the sunset is so sweet.
Shopping:
The Grove (The Farmer’s Market), Rodeo Drive and Westfield Century City Mall for shopping! I would also stop by the Pixi Boutique to refresh my face, touch up my makeup and re-up my beauty kit. If you run into my dear friend, Colleen Lota, Pixi’s Global Educator and dance extraordinaire, an Instagram Reel and TikTok adds some extra fun to the entire experience!
More Food + Drinks:
Javier’s at the Westfield Century Mall is a great place to go for both delicious Mexican food and drinks with a beautiful ambiance. The staff and service here is impeccable and does not disappoint. Come here for dinner after you complete another day of shopping.
Beauty and Essex:
I am all about delicious food, drinks and ambiance. This location has a nice outdoor courtyard. Their bars feature premium mixology and the food is innovative multi-ethnic cuisine by Chef Chris Santos.
Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Legendary food and drink with a splash of Hollywood Glam and charm. Definitely a place to see and be seen.
