We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea C. Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea C., what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my faith in God. It’s what I stand on through the ups & downs of entrepreneurship. It’s the source that empowers me to show up with heart, intention, and vision!

My go-to scripture is Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

What should our readers know about your business?

Reimagine Talent Co. is a workforce and talent development firm offering comprehensive programs and DEI-informed retention strategies for conscious organizations.

Our mission is to educate the next-gen workforce and empower conscious organizations to foster inclusive & equitable spaces.

I often say our secret sauce is serving as the bridge between workforce development and talent development. We advise the multi-generational workforce & workplace, from entry-level to leaders — with a mission to drive access, opportunity & belonging.

We currently offer a workforce development program, Jumpstart to Career which serves a dozen education institutions across the country. We also work with a number of employers on building & cultivating diverse talent pipelines through consulting and training & development.

Before launching Reimagine Talent Co., I spent about a decade on Wall Street — always in the human capital function supporting recruiting, development & retention. This is truly my passion!

As a Founder & CEO, I’ve learned the importance of cultivating relationships, trusting my instincts, and building a strong and connected team.

As Reimagine Talent Co. continues to expand our impact and footprint, we are interested in supporting organizations that would like to launch, reposition or expand workforce development opportunities and build healthy, connected workplaces of belonging.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spot in the city (Atlanta) would undoubtedly be Ponce City Market. It’s filled with great shopping, restaurants, and culture.

We’d start the morning with a spin ride at Soulcycle, then grab coffee at Dancing Goats while catching up over a stroll of the area.

Afterward, we’d do some shopping! Some of my favorites include Anthropologie, Madewell, and Nike.

We’d grab lunch at Bellina Alimentar — I’d suggest we start with a burrata and dive into the delicious eggplant parm or ragu. Both hit the spot!

Given seasons are changing and summer is around the corner, we may enjoy a seasonal artist & flea showcase.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my Shoutout to Spelman College, my alma mater. Spelman College was the organization that gave me the wings to fly, the confidence to be myself unapologetically, and the community to navigate the highs and lows of my early career.

I truly wish every college student had the experience at Spelman College; it honestly changed my life by changing my mind and expanding a world of opportunity.

As a Black, Millennial entrepreneur who is often the “only” in rooms of all types, I exude confidence. I believe that I belong, in part because of the magical experiences and lessons I learned at Spelman College.
