Meet Bryer Garcia | Coffee Shop Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryer Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryer, how do you think about risk?
RISK Defined: a situation involving exposure to harm or danger.
In my life I never wanted to live by this rule, but some how this has been who I am.
From high school I didn’t want to follow the norm and just graduate and go to straight to college.
I wanted to do things my way, explore, travel, meet new people, try different jobs and most importantly figure who I am.
Since then, I have done just that. Explored, traveled, made friends, gained experience from working different jobs and yes eventually becoming the person I am today.
Opening and running my own business has been nothing short of that. Opening your business is anything but, comforting. it is all risk, no guarantees, and stressful. So why does someone do this? Because sometimes the risk is worth the reward. I didn’t do this to be rich, I did this to love what I do and be happy. Even I doubted myself many times. But with the help of my family, friends and now customers that support our business, the risk has definitely been worth it.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wolf’s Brew Coffee is a family owned business, in the Norse Way Village, Long Beach. . Partnered up with my father and ran with my brother and employees Zoe, Jessica and Chris we have established a small coffee shop into a staple for our community. I knew nothing about running my own business, but I did have experience in customer service, food and beverage industry and most importantly common sense. For those that want to open their own business, just know it will not be easy, but it will be worth it if you succeed.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My success has been nothing short of sacrifice along with living and learning. But with that said I would not be here without my family, friends. and our employees. Through loss, self-doubt and emotional peaks and valleys I would not have made it. The emotional stress and physical strain is more than you can only imagine. My dad who is my partner in the business, my brother who’s my right hand in everything I do, my friends that have been nothing but supportive and our employees that have been nothing short of brilliant and reliant. This is why Wolf’s Brew is where it is! Because of hard work, sacrifice and support.
