We had the good fortune of connecting with Destiny Farrant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Destiny, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
Working in the film industry is all I ever wanted to do as a kid. From the age of 16 I geared every class I had, meditation, manifestation to work in it. I was lucky in the way that I got on my first film set however luck without hard work can equal a missed opportunity. That being said there are challenges and hard times especially being freelance when you never know where your next paycheck will come from, or when. Not to mention the long hours 12-15 hours usually, with drive time, can really push you. It’s not a lifestyle fit for everyone and those who make it certainly have shared in the struggle. I think when things look bleak I like to just take some time for me to relax, gain perspective and greatfulness for how far I have come and the clients and friends I have made in my journey to success and that helps me to refocus and continue stronger and hopefully with more passion than before.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the beaches, hiking, going to the Huntington library, picnics, friends houses, SO many museums and live music, movies in the park, spa days ans massages and so much more
