We had the good fortune of connecting with Danny and Erika Feser and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danny and Erika, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Both of us (Danny and Erika) are creative people. Our natural surroundings inspire us, and we want to share with others, through our products and items.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We started out as Fruit farmers, from there we became flower farmers, and from there we started making products with what we grow. Nature inspires us to get creative. We would say it was an easy journey because it happened very naturally. Word of mouth, and very loyal, supportive customers.
We have learned that practice makes perfect. It takes time to perfect products. And Mother Nature is unpredictable,
We want the world to know that we care about farming in the most natural way possible, and lots of love is put into that.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our favorite things about LA are visiting the dog beach at Leo Carrillo. We also like walking down Ocean Avenue on Saturday mornings and then going to the Santa Monica farmers market. We enjoy going to the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena. We also really like walking in the Santa Monica mountains, and seeing old movies at the new beverly theater.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our customers have been such a great support in so many ways. Not only monetarily, but also in sharing and spreading the word on our farm. They are more than just customers, they are friends.
