We had the good fortune of connecting with Sanjini Bhakta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sanjini, how do you think about risk?
In my action film series, “EYE OF THE EMPRESS” which can be viewed on my YouTube channel (sanjiniactress) and on Vimeo, my character’s main motto throughout the film is:

“The higher the risk, the higher the reward!”

This is also the same motto I live by in my life!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from other creative artists is that I have a ton of “chutzpah”! I am a go-getter, my films are very masculine-oriented, edgy and provocative!

I am very passionate about my action film series, “Eye of the Empress”. It is a quest to find a diamond that has magical powers and it involves martial arts and fight scenes. I have filmed 13 short episodes so far and I have another 7 more left to complete this script,

I have also filmed “Portrait of a Nude Art Model” based on my experiences working as a nude art model for many years. I filmed “Motel Patel” which is about a colorful Indian family who own a fledgling motel in the United States. “Cyber Romance 1 & 2” are my comedies about dating, sex and relationships in today’s cyber world of communication.

I have also published 10 illustrated children’s books that are available on Amazon and Kindle. I have 6 more left to publish,

My life and all my movies have been a spiritual journey for me with lots of exciting adventures, obstacles, drama and risk taking! Patience and perseverance and not giving up no matter what the obstacles are what I have learned and continue to learn!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend or boyfriend were visiting me, I would give him a snippet of my exciting life for a week! I would take him to my gym (“The Mecca), to my Kung Fu lesson, to the exciting and glamorous red carpet films and art events I attend, to walk the red carpet with me, to introduce him to fun and exciting people, to attend a baseball game or a boxing event and to eat at a fancy or trendy restaurant such as Tao or De Buena Planta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I volunteer with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries’s of Charity and her sisters have always been there to support and encourage me. Working with them has helped me in so many ways. I have also filmed scenes of “Eye of the Empress” at the church and convent and volunteering with them is also included in my story.

Training with Shaolin Monks as I did at the Shaolin Temple in China when I got my black belt in Shaolin Kempo and training with them now at the Shaolin Cultural Center has been very beneficial to me as a growing martial artist. To train with the best Shaolin Warriors in the world and with their support and mentorship helps me to continue to learn and improve my martial arts and Shaolin Kung Fu skills. I use martial arts to fight in my movies.

And lastly, the support of my parents, especially my Dad is the best blessing in the world. When I finally complete “Eye of the Empress” and achieve fame, money, Oscars, a boyfriend, my other dreams as an American, success and happiness – I want my father to be proud of me and to say it to me! I have waited so patiently for everything in my life and I hope God recognizes and rewards me in a BIG WAY for all my hard work, perseverance and patience. This is my dream!!!
