We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I became vegan 2020 it was really difficult to find a healthy non-dairy coffee beverage at your local convince store. It was either black bottled refrigerated with no sugar or a bottled coffee with oatmilk but a lot of sugar. There was never a in between. Therefore, I wanted to create a cold brew coffee to provide the community that is not only healthy but also vegan with quality product.

What should our readers know about your business?
La Buena Fe Cafe originated 2021. What sets me apart from many buisness is just being authentic, & genuinely caring in what your are drinking/consuming. I mean, I am a mom of 2, work full time, go to the gym and still make time for my small business. Best believe I have multiple coffees a day. So if I care what the ingredients of my coffee has, best believe I would love to share it to the world, because we all love coffee and we are all busy, the last thing we need is a bad cup of Joe that gives us the jitters and runis the day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest, I think farmer markets are the best! Not only do you get to shop around for fresh produce, but the vibes, the music, the energy, talking to the small business owners, getting to know them and supporting them. Once you done chill at the grass area and enjoy what you bought. So of my future Best friend has not gone to a farmers market, that would be the first place we going.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh man. There is just so many people behind La Buena Fe Cafe. My family, to name a few: my mom, dad, my 2 kids who stay up late at night with me in bottling the coffee, my baby daddy who gives me a hand when in need, my cousin Jessica & her family for always opening doors for me when needing something and had always been my number one supporter.
