We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacob Mercado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacob, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind making my podcast happened because I felt a platform for up and coming artist, personality and anyone trying to change our culture.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel what I would want the world to know about me and my brand not trying to to change the podcasting game because they are so many, that a company like us wants to be know for just holding the best conversation. Making you feel like you are at your local bodega listening to two people having a conversation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this to myself just because I know where I come from and how hard it was to make this happen. This was not easy to execute. Times where I wanted to give up but I could not. Luckily for me I have the right people in my corner to thank.
