We had the good fortune of connecting with The Nextkidz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Nextkidz, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Our mission is to spread positivity amongst everyone that we come across as well as promoting being yourself unapologetically. We’re doing just that by being ourselves and sharing that with all that support us.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The relationship we have built together in our past 5-15+ years of knowing each other is a bond incomparable to any other group on this earth. We persevere through so many things it continuously shows us we are meant to be together making us closer every single day. All of us gradually met in the same dance company but little did we know what was in store. Brought together through RiRi and Angelina, we then branched off from our old team & created our own establishment “NK”. Being connected is one of our greatest blessings, we do not pretend to be a group because “it’s cool” or for “clout”. We’re very similar yet our differences complete each other! We are way more than just friends, teammates or coworkers… everything we do together makes us a happy family!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Growing up in the Bay Area has given us many opportunities for a great adventure. The perfect trip sounds like a day in San Francisco. First we’d take them to a local restaurant of their choice and eat it while we have a picnic at Dolores Park. Possibly bike around Golden Gate Park and Haight-Ashbury. Another day trip could include grabbing coffee and thrifting in Berkeley. To end the day, watching sunset at the top of Indian Rock. The Bay Area definitely has a great variety of food, nature spots, and culture.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to give a big thank you to Greg Chapkis, Melvin Tim Tim, and Chapkis Dance Family. We all wouldn’t have met and came together without the company. they helped us grow into the dancers we are today.
