Hi Natalie Efua, how does your business help the community?
The Efua Experience is more than just a business or brand. It’s a philosophy, a way of life. Embracing Flaws Uplifting All – that’s it. I believe EFUA is one of many purposes that I have in this life. To encourage others to embrace their flaws and empower people to uplift one another. We live in a society where more than often we see individuals tearing each other down and sometimes even tearing themselves down – constantly comparing who they are to who they think society thinks they should be. Rather than stepping gracefully into their purpose, we see people struggling to accept who they are and embrace the journey of becoming who they are destined to be. I want people to have a warm feeling in their hearts when they hear EFUA. More than anything, I want to spread positive energy and love.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My artistry has allowed me to be vulnerable with the world, using my pain to fulfill one of many life purposes. I have always has a passion for creating. As an Actress, I look forward to telling stories and impacting the lives of others through the projects that I am part of. I genuinely love creating meaningful relationships with people and introducing them to an experience that they will never forget – The Efua Experience. Efua is my middle name which is a Ghanaian name given to a baby girl born on Friday; however, I created my own philosophy in the process of discovering who I am. Embracing Flaws Uplifting All. In a perfect world, the journey to self-discovery would be easy; but this world is far from perfect and life can be anything other than easy at times. I find that spending quality time with myself and genuinely getting to know who I am and who I becoming has helped me overcome so many challenges that I often faced. I was constantly worried about what I didn’t have instead of embracing the gifts that I had right in front of me. Once I gave myself the permission to just be myself, things started to work in my favor; opportunities were emerging and I learned how to genuinely love the woman I was becoming.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First and foremost, shoutout to my besties. I am so grateful for my tribe, my sisterhood. My circle is small, but it is solid. I know how much my friends enjoy being outdoors, so I would start the trip off with a lovely hike up the Mount Lee to see the Hollywood Sign – we definitely want to get our steps in for the day, but also take pictures for our memories as we don’t get to hang out often. After our hike, we will find a plant-based restaurant with great views and vibes. A trip to the spa would followed by a girls-night out – sip and paint experience is definitely on the itinerary. Knowing me, I will find an opportunity to get boba tea at least 3 times out of the week because I mean why not? The most exciting places to be are truly unpredictable in the sense that I have had some really amazing experiences and encounters in the most random places. I think the best way to ensure that you have an enjoyable time is to set your intention. Start each day with an attitude of gratitude and I guarantee you will attract the right people and find yourself at the right places.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my mother Millicent. My mother is my hero, she is the reason why I am who I am today. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me and my sisters. Millic, Thank you for giving me life and allowing me to pursue my passions. I love you so much!
