Meet Victoria Mack | Owner & Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My balance has change tremendously, I had to learn over the years how to balance family, friends, a love life, work, running 3 self owned companies plus maintaining “me time” for myself, my faith in God has a lot to do with making things easier in my life, when I started trusting God more a lot of my work and life balance became so easy.
I think balance is much needed in our day to day lives, without balance you have no peace.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have 2 business and 1 organization which are Mz V’s Kitchen, Mack Glam-Ish and Victorious1 Heart and Soul.
Mz. V’s Kitchen is a company I started in 2020 from a sugar free cranberry sauce I made for the last 4yrs every holiday season for myself, family and friends, it has now grown into a sauce and spice company which is taking off day by day, all my products are healthy and delicious that alone sets me apart from the rest. I’m so excited for the next phase of Mz. V’s Kitchen in 2023.
I started Mack Glam-Ish Inc. in 2020 also, Mack Glam-Ish is a cosmetic company and is currently under construction, I’m so excited for the new products I have coming out in 2023, can’t wait for you guys to see them!
Last but certainly not least, the one that started it all for me, Victorious1 Heart and Soul which is an organization I started in 2012 out to help the homeless by providing food, clothing and resources. I have had the most humbling opportunity to connect with so many different people, when I go out and feed the homeless, I just don’t give and walk away, I actually stick around, talk, share some laughs and listen to them, I have watched so many people turn their nose up at a homeless person or look the other way, most of the time homeless people really just want a listening ear, it’s not always about money, even before I started Victorious1 Heart and Soul, at the age of 10 along with my Mom, Aunts and Cousins at my childhood church Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church we would feed the homeless every 4th Saturday and most of the homeless men and women who attended really would come just to socialize and have someone listen to them.
Victorious1 Heart and Soul has accomplished so many things in last 10yrs and helped so many people, no matter what I have going on in life, I will always giveback.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite area’s are Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica, I would take my bff to eat at The Strand House in Manhattan Beach, their food is so fresh and delicious along with some of the best views of the Pacific Ocean. We would go to Tin Roof for drinks which is also located in Manhattan Beach, the vibe is amazing, the bartenders are hilarious and you meet some of the coolest people there like my girl TJ aka Latrice!
We would visit Santa Monica Pier, Muscle Beach is a most see lol, hanging along the pier is so fun, the locals are so cool, an ultimate vibe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My number one cheerleader aka my Mom definitely deserves “The Shoutout” she’s had my back ever step of the way, my Mom is my rock but there is also one other person I would like to shoutout and he goes by the name of DJ Whutever from the Boogie Down Bronx in New York City, DJ Whutever is so inspiring to me, he is the DJ for the New York Mets and also for iHeartRadio, he’s a father, a business owner (Whutever It Takes) and Founder of Whutever It Takes DJ Academy, his passion has inspired me for the last 13yrs he has been in my life, the way he handles day to day life and business is amazing to me, he is the first person I turn to for advice, I salute you Mr. DJ !
