Social impact: how does your business help the community or the world?

We asked members of the community how their organizations help the community. We’ve shared some of the responses below.

I am an acting and voice coach. My work is supporting people to find their joy through play. One of my teachers once said – ”We used to be called Players before we were called actors- and we played.’ – Easy for kids- harder for adults. Lately I have been approached by Corporations for workshops-as the workforce post Covid is struggling- uncomfortable, disconnected, after all those Lockdowns. My business helps the community and the world by first helping the individual. It’s been amazing to see a ripple effect happen by one person taking the time for themselves to do the breathwork and then surrender to the stress of the cold. Small Print Books came out of the vacuum of the pandemic, the isolation, the inability to connect with those outside your bubble. I missed interaction, I missed talking to twenty strangers in passing ways daily.
