Meet Noe Martinez | Baker/Entrepreneur/Chef

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noe Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noe, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by my mother. I keep her spirit alive by keeping her legacy going through my craft, my love for baking and serving people. When I was a young child, I would wake up to the refrigerator full of beautiful cakes that she would make from scratch all night and then be delivered to her customers to share her love and passion for baking. My mother was and still is a big influence and inspiration in my life. When I am up cooking and prepping for my caterings and I hit a roadblock, I look way deep into my heart and find her words, wisdom, light, guidance and love.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets us apart from others is the love and the passion that goes into creating a first of its kind, Gourmet Churro and real quality that you can taste in the first and the last bite. I am proud of bringing a Gourmet Churro to the market, that has exceeded all my expectations. Something that I am excited about is the future that is ahead of us. We want to be able to bring our high quality Gourmet Churros across the US in all groceries stores (ex, Costco, Sam’s).
I got to where I am today through all the hardships, all my past experiences in unfulfilled jobs, sleepless nights and pondering that I could work for myself and work for my dream instead of working for someone elses dream. The way I overcame these challenges, I prayed and saw that I could accomplish my own dreams and goals. These lessons have toughened my skin and have made me see the bigger picture, that dreams are possible even if its small steps we have to take to get to the top.
What I want the world to know about me is, believe in yourself, chase your dreams, never let anyone tell you can not do anything. ( 2 Corinthians, 5-7 walk by faith, not by sight).

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
At this point in my life because of my mother and father . everything I do is inspired buy them. As a child I sat and watched the cooking channel with my mother falling in love with the kitchen, as birthdays came along birth day cakes were out of budget so my mother began making cakes for my sisters and i.
birthday cakes turned into quinceanera and wedding cakes for cousins and friends. I loved waking up in the morning to see the finished cake so beautifully decorated.
My father worked long days to provide the things he wished for as a child he would leave to work before we woke up and would come home from work to put us to bed. giving me the values of hard work family and love
