Meet Isabelle Kreydin | Bubbles Dog Rescue CEO & Optometric Intern

We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabelle Kreydin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isabelle, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
If your actions create a legacy
that inspires
others to dream
more, learn more
do more and
become more,
then you are
an excellent
leader – Dolly Parton
I like to live by this quote as best as I can. I try to act in a way that inspires, that spreads love, kindness and compassion. I work tirelessly to rescue animals, to care for them and to place them in forever homes that will cherish them forever. I want to create a norm, a norm to care about sentient beings, a norm to value every life! I want to lead others, encourage them to open their eyes to the overpopulation and overbreeding of dogs, and open their hearts and their homes to foster, adopt, donate and advocate. By working towards a friendlier earth, by creating Bubbles Dog Rescue to save lives and change lives, I hope to others that anyone who is willing – can truly make a difference.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bubbles Dog Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Bubbles Dog Rescue – run by all vegan women – takes matters of the frightening, rapid dog euthanasia – into our own hands. We pull dogs of euthanasia lists throughout all of California, take them to a clinic and veterinarian, to be spayed, vaccinated, and examined, and find them a foster home. Bubbles ensures the dogs receive the behavioral or medical rehabilitation they need. Getting to this point in rescue – was definitely not an easy task. It was hard. I worked alongside my team endlessly to create a network of trusted fosters, donors, transporters etc. I invested my own time, my own money. I worked endlessly to ensure that each and every dog in our care, truly is cared for. I still do. I think it sets us apart from many others – the true and genuine care and effort we give every dog. Bubbles is there for their rescue animals for life. Alumni can reach out to us years later, we will be there. We are forever their family. There are always challenges in dog rescue, and working day and night to fundraise for these dogs needs is rewarding, yet time consuming. Requires strategy, effort, and work. We then promote the dog on social media platforms and use word of mouth to find the dog a safe, happy, healthy, purrfect forever home. The lessons I’ve learned go far and long. I learn everyday to show compassion to all, to continue to put in the hours to make the rest of a dogs life as excellent as possible. That every dog is different but that there is a home for every dog. That every animal deserves a life. Our goal is to truly, help make Los Angeles a No Kill city. I want people to know that Bubbles Dog Rescue truly, is filled with hard working team and the most incredible dogs. To adopt, don’t shop!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Los Angeles – and how dog friendly it truly is. I would take my best friend to visit some of our amazing foster homes and meet some of our amazing adoptables. I would take them to MDR and onto a dog friendly boat cruise. Then to lunch at Crossroads, maybe Nics on Beverly, to show them how delicious and feel good it is to not eat animals. I would take them on an amazing Santa Monica board walk adventure with a couple of our fosters, show the beautiful beach and weather whilst promoting our adoptable babies!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My story is dedicated to rescue animals who lost their lives to human failure. We do this work in your honor. And of course to my team. To my fellow co founder and COO – my sister Inna. She challenges me and supports me like no other. To my friend and other co founder, Sienna, who is only 15 – yet we learn something new from her everyday. To the rest of my absolutely incredible team, Margo and Liz. Nabila and Marissa. To our supporters, fosters, adopters, networkers, transporters, etc. I couldn’t do this without you all. Thank you so much for everything.
