Meet Tremaine Tre” Woodard | Small Business Supporter and Entrepreneur”

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tremaine “Tre” Woodard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tremaine “Tre”, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
During the pandemic, some people lost their jobs some developed mental illnesses issues such as anxiety and were in need of outlets and helps. We all were impacted by covid one way or another. It was then when I’ve noticed family and friends were doing things like starting their own business to help cope with what they were dealing with and it was so awesome! I saw people creating things and selling things on social media. Some were calling me for ideas and even asking me to be a part of what they were doing. I started thinking how can I help? I have a background in Computer programming and graphic design and that gave me the idea of how to help start their own business. I started helping with business ideas, I was designing logos and websites and promoting on social media outlets spreading the word about these wonderful businesses I was working with.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
There are a lot of Small Business Supporters out there and one of the first things I had set out to do was separate The Tresoul Network from all the rest. In doing so, I created a small business network where you can see all the small businesses we work with and their products and have access to them personally instead of going through me which is an option as well. What excites me the most is that the small business owners we work with have helped potential business owners by giving them advice on how to start and the do’s and don’ts in their business. I got to where I am today from people asking me to design logos for them and it pushed me creatively to put out the best product I can for them. Nothing is never easy when first starting out. I’ve had my rejections and was told my logos business ideas weren’t good or what the clients envisioned. All it did was motivate me and push me to work harder on my craft. I’ve learned was “you don’t fail, you learn.” It’s never having a give up attitude. If you love what you do, you’re always going to produce great work. I want the world to know that no matter how big or how small your business is, you have a family at The Tresoul Network. We proudly support every business whether you’re a startup, or need rebranding, we provide services for all your business needs.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Pittsburg, Ca. First thing comes to mind is one of my favorites. Beer and Wine tasting. First Street Alehouse in Livermore, 21st Amendment Brewery in San Leandro and EJ Phair Brewing. Then on to a Wine trip to Napa Valley. Enjoy tasting some great wines at V. Sattui and Castello di Amorosa two of my favorites. For food I would recommend Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse in Oakland, Hana Japan Steakhouse in Dublin, Smelly’s Creole and catering in Oakland for some great seafood and soul food, Uncle Yu’s at the Vineyard in Livermore, Huckleberry’s for great breakfast and Yardhouse Restaurant in Concord for great beer and food. For entertainment, I’ll have to take guess to a Golden State Warriors game, Six Flags Discover Kingdome in Vallejo, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Concord (water park), Dave and Busters for some games and family fun, Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco and Tommy T’s in Pleasanton. There are other things to do as well such as a cruise around the Bay on the Hornblower Cruise, a tour of Alcatraz, spending a whole day at Pier 39 and a trip to Monterey Bay and visit the famous Aquarium.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There were so many people who played important roles in my journey. I would like to thank my mom who actually suffered from mental illness which pushed to me to want to help and do more for people. My wife who always supports me when it comes to my creativity and how I use it to help and inspire others. My mother in-law and my church family who believed in me and uses some of my services to for their functions and events. It was my siblings and friends who first used my creative services who helped me get off the ground, so I want to thank them as well.
