I was the first in my family to choose an artistic career, so pursuing art was always risky. I had to navigate certain crossroads like choosing which school to attend with very little guidance. Although I couldn’t ask my family for specific career advice, one thing I’ll never forget is when my sister told me I could do literally anything I wanted with my life.
