He began his career working in Disney then studied under some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, including Alinea, The French Laundry, and Eleven Madison Park, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for culinary excellence.
What sets Chef Munoz apart from others is his creative flair and willingness to take risks. He incorporates diverse cultural influences into his dishes, such as Latin American, French,Asian, and approaches cooking with a modern twist, which has captivated the palates of diners around the world making him one of the best chef in Los Angeles if not The States.
Chef Munoz is most proud of his success as a Chef & entrepreneur, having launched his own business & being at the helm of Conservatory, which has been met with critical acclaim from the best food critics & bloggers. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Chef Victor Munoz’s dedication to his craft and business savvy allowed him to navigate through difficult times and emerge stronger than ever.
Getting to where he is today professionally was not easy, as Chef Victor Munoz faced numerous challenges along the way. As an undocumented immigrant unable to attend college, He had to work his way up from the bottom, starting as a dishwasher in a restaurant kitchen, and faced many setbacks and obstacles on his journey to becoming one of the most up & coming celebrated chefs. However, he never lost sight of his passion and commitment to excellence, and overcame these challenges through hard work, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of his goals.
One of the lessons Chef Victor Munoz has learned along the way is the importance of staying true to one’s vision and not compromising on quality. He believes that success comes from being authentic and original in one’s approach to cooking, while also staying attuned to the needs and preferences of diners.

The Perfect LA Weekend to me is as follows, we start
Friday night dinner at Camphor then late night cocktails at Death & Co.
Saturday,
– Wake up early and hit up the Santa Monica Farmers market then hit up Burritos Las Palmas for a quick breakfast pick me up “hit get the chicharron burrito”
– Go burn those carb out at one of LA’s Amazing hikes like Runyon or Griffith (both equally dope but go see the Hollywood sign that’s why your here!)
– Then go cool off at The Broad Museum & walk around Little Tokyo. (so many hidden gems!)
– Early Dinner at Yangban, the drinks at thunderbolt.
– Late Night tacos at Leo’s Taco Truck
Sunday
– wake up early for a stroll down Santa Monica Pier & Venice beach!
– Hit up “Teddy’s Red Tacos” for a quick breakfast, get the quesadilla its Fire…
– Then definitely do mimosas at “The Rose Venice”
– Walk off those carbs at LACMA and end it at Alameda night Market for some late night grub

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s no way I would be were I am without the words of encouragement & mentorship from my friends and family. From my Mom & Dad making sure I was raised with values, manners, & having attainable goals, to my little brother for giving me the motivation I need to succeed, I want hi to have a good role model and follow the same formula. To my wife who keeps me on my toes everyday to make sure I stay true to who I am and keep the following the vision. To the first chef that ever gave me an Opportunity Jose Camey and taking me under his wing allowing me to explore a whole new world of culinary. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the empowerment from past & present family, friends, co-workers, & the two cutest baby girls Neal & Olive! yes, there corgis…
