We had the good fortune of connecting with Kriste Robindon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kriste, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting a business is not easy. Starting from 0 was definitely scary and challenging for me. I had to build a website, a community, credibility, and a brand in a language that is not my primary language. But when you stand in faith and follow the calling and purpose for your life, you rise above the stats and you don’t quit until is done.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am Kristel Robinson Bailey from Costa Rica a mother of 3, Spiritual Teacher, Life & Relationships Coach, and Motivational Speaker.

I love giving words of encouragement to other women and sharing with other sisters about God’s unconditional love; She deeply believes this is her calling.

I am the founder of “Can’t Break Me Retreat,” a traveling healing retreat for women. Can’t Break Me Retreat was born as a space to find healing from heartbreak and trauma. It’s a sacred place to disconnect from the world and give all your burdens and pain to God.

The Retreat includes six days with an intimate group of sisters on a sacred pilgrimage to embark on a self-love journey and healing journey. “The way we think will lead us to the right path,”

Our problems and challenges are an opportunity to grow and become wiser and stronger in life. “No matter how hurt and tired we might feel, keep a good attitude, keep your faith, and cast all your anxiety and fear into God.
When you feel down and lost, see yourself as a seed… With the proper care, mindset, and attitude, you can grow into the most beautiful and strongest tree. Together we heal, we grow, and we become more empowered.”

The next Retreat dates for 2023 are June 13th to June 18th in Costa Rica and October 21th-28th in Bali, Indonesia.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and just as my itinerary for my retreat is perfectly planned to explore the most exciting and amazing landscapes, I would also take any friend to sightsee. In Costa Rica you can explore, volcanoes, beautiful beaches, national parks, safari tours, adventurous tours like canopy and rafting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All glory and honor to God, primarily. But I do want to mention my helpmate and partner for standing by me from 0 and pushing me to keep believing in the process. I also had incredible family members, like my cousin Stephanie, and my aunt, Patricia,.who have supported me and help me in the process. And last but not least, my beautiful friend Stacia.

Every entrepreneur needs a circle. Needs people who pour light and encouragement into the vision and people who believe know your potential and dreams.
