Hi Demetria “MzMetchi”, what matters most to you?

My main mission for my business The Blueprint Media Company is to showcase and uplift small businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, creatives and anyone making an impact in the communities they serve.

With that being said, a principle that is important to me is “Collaboration over Competition”. There is room for all of us to win!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I’m MzMetchi, media personality, content creator, event specialist and professional brand ambassador who partners with small businesses and local music artists to help better market and promote their brands. After spending over a decade in operational management, I decided to take a leap into entrepreneurship and helping others.

During my time in radio, I founded
The Blueprint Media Company LLC. where I offer marketing and promotion through media, consulting and event management. I host my show #TheBlueprintLive on Facebook & YouTube powered by FluentRadio, Philly Jamz 95.3, Mixed Talk Media and Philly Indie 101.5!

I got to where I am now due to a lot of hard work and perseverance. I was told no and rejected within the media industry but still pushed through. I learned that you have to clap for yourself and do what you’re called to do no matter what.

I want everyone to know that I’m on a mission to help as many small businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, creatives and anyone making an impact in the communities they serve. The goal is to gain exposure and increase revenue for their respective entities and everyone will see me on much bigger platforms soon enough.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend was visiting we would head to downtown Chicago. I’d take them to some of the best hotels, eateries and shopping venues.

This is the best area to see and experience the city for sure!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I don’t know where I’d be without my husband Anthony. He is very behind the scenes but he has been with me every step of the way.

I’ve been blessed to be part of some amazing radio broadcasting networks. Shoutout to FluentRadio, Jamz 95.3, Indie 101.5 and Mixed Talk Media where my show #TheBlueprintLive is currently syndicated.

I’m thankful to my friend and business partner Renita of Be Your Own Kind who has been such a great business sister sis we first met.
