Hi Anastasiia, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
As a Creative Director of a Marketing agency, work/life balance is a crucial aspect of my life. Managing a team of creative individuals and overseeing numerous projects can be demanding, and I need to save that passion to what I do.

I have established some personal guidelines. Firstly, I prioritize my work tasks and deadlines to avoid burnout and overworking. I ensure that I take breaks throughout the day to refresh my mind and avoid becoming overwhelmed.

Additionally, I prioritize self-care outside of work hours, so I can recharge my energy and return to work feeling refreshed and focused. As a creative person, I know that my ability to generate ideas and produce meaningful work relies heavily on my ability to rest and recharge. However, rest is not always easy to come by in our fast-paced society. Many of us struggle to switch off and disconnect from work, even when we’re not in the office (my work is not limited by working hours, for example).

I will never feel bad about work if I’m inspired, fascinated by the project. And I believe that inspiration can be found in even the most mundane of activities, and that the key to unlocking our creativity is simply to remain open to new possibilities. Taking a mindful pause to appreciate the beauty of nature, the sounds of the city, or the emotions of a conversation can help to cultivate a sense of wonder and inspiration.

Communication is also key to managing work/life balance. I have open and honest conversations with my team about the importance of a healthy and relaxed mental state. By fostering a supportive work environment, we can all work together towards achieving a better balance.
