We had the good fortune of connecting with Saint Ömani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Saint, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I ever made was believing in myself. Knowing that I had to build the courage to take on this task alone. Building my strength and confidence through my business has helped me a lot during this process that I am going through. Teaching myself that everyday is a new day and everything I learn is a new lesson to right down to teach my future self. I’m learning and growing and building a me and I LOVE her!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
During this process, I am proud how I can continually improve my artistic skills and make things work. I’m constantly in my head thinking and planning, when I put my mind together and work it’s therapeutic and exciting for me. I love art! Always have and always will! The biggest challenge I have is not believing in my full potential. I try and still believe that I can overcome this challenge for me would be by just doing what I feel is right. Listening to my heart and not so much to my head, because I talk myself out of things. I want the world to know the authentic Saint Ömani, the real purpose of my art.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I grew up in the west end of Louisville, so we’re definitely going to Kings to get some chicken lol with a large pink lemonade just because it’s my favorite. I’m becoming more of a scenery girl, so definitely go to the botanical gardens, then hit up downtown or the Nulu area it’s some nice things to see and do over there!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Right now, I don’t seem to have a physical person to give thanks. I give my props to God, he never fails me.
