We had the good fortune of connecting with Sindy Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sindy, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
As a little girl I used to love to color , I would sit for hours and work on my coloring books , so now as a adult I combined baking which I always enjoy as well I noticed in 2020 when we where all locked in , baking and decorating sugar cookies came easy to me .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Every time a bake and decorate I give my all if something doesn’t look right I will remake till it makes me happy and satisfied. Adding details to every cookie is my favorite part , it wasn’t easy in the beginning to get the icing to the right consistency for flooding or to write with it took a while but I knew giving up was not an option since I felt this was made for me to do and master . I have learn that if you set a goal don’t give up stay consistent and believe in yourself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I grew up in Long Beach so for me the beach is like no other place , Malibu is one of my favorite places just to sit on the rocks with a coffee and listen to the waves is priceless. Downtown Long Beach has so many restaurants and clubs down pine Ave is always a good time meeting new people. I can’t forget about theme Parks my favorite Universal Studios, Disneyland, knotts always a good time with family

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To my family , mother , sisters, uncle for being my biggest support my children for being my motivation .
