Meet Danni Vitorino | Actor & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danni Vitorino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danni, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I initially was going to pursue a career as a math teacher. Following advice from my father, I quickly changed course into the performing arts. Growing up, I luckily had major support from my parents. They don’t understand this business at all but they have always wanted me to follow my dreams. Personally, I chose this path because I really enjoy studying people and I find the best way to understand someone is know what they are going through/gone through. When I was little I would use this more as an escape or prank on new friends. After learning more about the theater world, I definitely wanted to share more of an experience with an audience through acting. Life is a collective experience and I think we can forget that so it’s nice to see a piece of acting that brings you back to that.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Resilience; It is a key part of this industry. It’s not easy to find a balance to keep going and also live a life worth living while you are chasing this career. I’m still figuring that part out. I’m excited about the projects I have worked on so far since being here in LA almost 3 years. I’ve met some really great and creative people who I cherish. It’s always an easy day on set when you’re with a great crew and cast.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ideal day in LA would be an early morning hike, any trail will do. Afterwards, iced matchas and a croissant at The Ugly Mug. Then a studio tour at Warner Brother’s or visit to the Getty Museum. For lunch, a drive to Malibu Seafood and then watch the sunset at the nearby beach. From there, head to Universal City Walk to walk around and then see an Imax movie at their AMC theater. In&Out for dinner and take it to go. Drive up mulholland Dr and then eat at one of the rest stops peering the city view.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Audition by Michael Shurtleff, Melody Parra, Clinton Haddix, The Stella Adler Studio in NYC, The Groundlings, my friend ‘D’, & me.
