Meet Ezra Flores | Professional Dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ezra Flores and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ezra, what role has risk played in your life or career?
The way I think about risk taking is being able to move past the fear of failing. If you keep obsessing over the “bad” that can happen, it can cause you to forego the risk that can take you to the next level.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
5 year old me would be very proud of where I am in today.. I have so much more to do. So many lives I want to change and inspire. Throughout the years of life have been the most challenging. Fear held me back TREMENDOUSLY in my early 20’s. But, the biggest lesson for me was to stop holding on to the anxiety and focus on my potential positive outcomes of RISK.
The idea of change can be scary. But risk taking involves unknown levels of change. I think that’s the beauty of life itself.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting my area, my itinerary for a week long trip would be Meditating
Outdoor exercise (hikes, run, or yoga on the beach)
Matcha morning dates
Journaling
Cooking together
Visiting museums in LA, gardens, and beaches
A Random fun easy dance class
Wine tasting in Malibu
Dinner at my favorite Hand Roll spot called Kazunori on Ventura
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this to anyone who is afraid to take risks.
