Meet Manya Nofal | Fashion & Sustainable jewelry design

We had the good fortune of connecting with Manya Nofal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Manya, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Details… It’s all about details, the most important factor in my design is the smallest detail, and that what makes things unique and exceptional. Sustainability also another factor behind the success of my brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Art and Fashion always been my biggest passion. I love doing art every day which makes me feel who I am.
It’s all about details, the most important factor in my design is the smallest detail, and that what makes things unique and exceptional
I always look for the most interesting, unexpected materials to start my new project, that means having a unique perspective on materials that may seem dull to the average eye.
I am always contemplating on how to repurpose materials that are neglected but still possess beauty and great quality.
My goal is to find creative ways of extending the life of an old but beautiful pair of earrings, or a golden crystallized brooch that can tell stories from the past, or a vintage designer trim, into something entirely new that can be worn and enjoyed in our modern life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend was visiting my area which is silicon valley /California. I would take her to San Francisco, go to Golden Gate Park and walk on Golden Gate Bridge.
Visit pier 39, have lunch at Boudin’s bakery and get their famous clam chowder soup.
Would go to Sausalito city and walk there
Have dinner at
Aurora Sausalito – Ristorante e Pizzeria.
We can also visit another beautiful town by the pacific coast, Carmel by the sea and Monterey.
Walk their downtowns streets and visit their beautiful cute shops, have dinner at one of their amazing restaurants.
We can visit another city called Capitola
And have dinner at my favorite restaurant called shadowbrook with views of Soquel Creek including the Cable Car as an elevator.
Another day we can go more south along the coast and visit one of the most beautiful towns sitting on a cliff by the ocean Called big sir , have lunch at Nepenthe with an amazing views of the Pacific Ocean.
Also if we have more time we can visit lake Tahoe which is 3 hours driving from my house.
Also we can visit Yosemite national park.
Amazing hikes in the redwood forests.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest shoutout goes to my family and friends who supported me and always encourages me to keep doing what I’m doing. Also there’s an amazing person I would like to recognize and deserve a credit in inspiring me and believing in me is Carla Labat designer of CAMILLE K JEWELERY.
