Hi Caitlyn, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my two businesses is our commitment to keep working and pushing forward. I always jokingly tell my business partners we’re in our Steve Jobs in the garage phase, but it’s real! Even with the successes we achieve in business, we are always hungry for more growth, and that hunger keeps us on our toes.

In the face of trials and tribulations, I’ve learned that the key is to throw myself at the problem until we figure it out. It’s a combination of persistence, resourcefulness, and a touch of humor to keep things light hearted even in challenging situations. Balancing that drive that keeps you up all night with taking time to disconnect is key to avoid burning out and ensuring that the business and the people behind it continue to thrive.

We’ve come a long way, but there is always room for improvement. Being aware of this and remaining open to growth,new ideas, and new connections has been a driving force in our success. Our journey has been a rollercoaster, but embracing it with enthusiasm and passion is key because we know that the best is yet to come. To quote Nipsey Hussle, “I just didn’t quit.
That’s the only distinguishing quality from me and probably whoever else is goin’ through this, went through this, or is gonna go through this.” Keep pushing forward to see what’s beyond your current vision.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing I really want people to take away from both of my businesses is that anyone has the power to make their dreams a reality.

Looking back, I remember those days of messing around with fonts and designs online or hiding a social media account from my moms, being so eager to explore it even though I wasn’t old enough for Twitter at the time. And now, I’ve got my own marketing agency, Beaux Monde Media. Little did I know, those school papers that got me in trouble for playing around with fonts & design would end up laying the groundwork for my future in marketing and entrepreneurship.

I’ve always been passionate about fashion, but I used to complain about the clothes I wanted being out of reach or unavailable, or not finding fashion that aligned with me. Now, I’m proudly running The Venom Era, a clothing line focused on empowering women, supported by an amazing community alongside my incredible business partner. It just goes to show that with determination, a little creativity, and a touch of audacity, anyone can turn their aspirations into accomplishments.

If you have a genuine interest or passion, don’t hesitate to dive into it. You never know, that small spark could evolve into something far more significant than you ever imagined.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I have anyone come to visit, the first thing I do to fill our schedule is to seek out a variety of events from checking out different bars, trying new restaurants, or relaxing in nature. One of my favorite things about LA is that there’s an endless amount of things to do. There really is something here for everyone. My biggest recommendation to anyone visiting LA is to take a step out of your comfort zone and try something new – you never know what can happen!

In business, the best things are built through collaboration. I’m truly grateful for the diverse expertise everyone on my team brings to the table. Collectively, we’ve built a powerhouse by blending creativity, strategy, operations, and influence, driving brands to see the results and success they deserve.
