We had the good fortune of connecting with Amish Dani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amish, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur, having started a few businesses over the years. When I landed in the live space, the idea was always to start a business at some point, I just wasn’t sure exactly what that looked like when i started. After a few years of helping someone else build their content business, and a few years of freelancing as a creative producer, I was finally ready, and had a clear vision for my company. Then pandemic hit. And the live space went to zero, with no clear understanding of when it was going to come back. Luckily I was able to pivot to television performances within a few months and was able to get the momentum going again. This is really when FRAMEWORX was born. As the TV work picked up and the live shows came back, I decided in December of 2022 that I was going to double down and personally invest into significant infrastructure and that’s when we built out our space.
What should our readers know about your business?
FRAMEWORX is a full service Creative Production Company in the world of live and broadcast. We mainly produce immersive experiences for musicians for their fans in a live performance environment, as well as some work for brands. We do everything from production and lighting design to led screens content and lighting programming. We’ve worked on projects for clients including: Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Karol G, Peso Pluma, The Marias, Lil Baby, Post Malone, Nike, Honda, and more.
What sets us apart from others is not only our creativity, but our ability to efficiently streamline multiple creative departments on complex projects. This prevailing tendency has allowed us to consistently deliver a high quality product for our clients, which is what has gotten us to where we are today.
What I love most about what we do is that it’s one of the rare truly creative fields out there, We literally make art with some of the most incredible artists in the world, and are not bound by any single style or genre. It’s a dream career for me.
In regards to my personal story, It’s been a long zig zag journey to get to where I’m at today professionally. I started my first business almost 20 years ago, and over the years i tried a lot of different things I was passionate about, but nothing really stuck until now. I came close to breakout success a few times previously, but for one reason or another it never worked out.
I almost gave up at one point, and left the creative industry all together, but I decided to keep pushing. This paid off when I found the live music production space about 7 years ago. Even though I came in with a broad skill set from all the things i had tried over the years, I pretty much started from scratch. I had no experience in the field, no real connections, and had no applicable education, but I had finally found something I was really passionate about and good at, so i made the commitment.
I have always had a great passion for music, but it’s a difficult industry to crack without connections and/or resources.
If I could give advice to anyone, I would tell them don’t give up on your dreams, and it’s never too late. If you work hard and learn from every experience good or bad, things will manifest in one form or another.
