We had the good fortune of connecting with Aizhan LighG and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aizhan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
When I first worked on a character development, I fell in love with the journey.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m your typical Asian: part time lawyer, part time Princess Warrior. I went to Harvard university, UCLA Law school alumni; I ride horses, have red belt in taekwondo, practice sword fighting and archery, trained in kickboxing and judo. I portrayed my ancestor: ancient Scythian princess warrior Sardana, who lived 2500 years ago and led her female army into one of the most epic wars of the ancient history.
The title of the film is The Legend of Tomiris. It’s currently on Amazon.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my friends visit me from Kazakhstan, I show them “my Los Angeles”: take them to my favorite beach in Pacific Palisades, have lunch in Malibu, dinner at my favorite restaurant in West Hollywood, and for drinks we go to Soho house to connect with my friends from the industry.

When my US friends come to Kazakhstan, I take them to my favorite spots, treat them to our traditional dishes, go on road trips to the town with 80 lakes or skiing in the mountains of Almaty. I love showing them the architecture of the capital Astana, both old and new.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mom is my hero, mentor and a role model. All of my achievements would have never been possible without her unconditional love and support.
