Meet Krissy Bautista | Medical Intuitive, Holistic Health Practitioner, Herbalist, & Hairstylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Krissy Bautista and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Krissy, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
Hello! First, I just want to say thank you for having me again! Ultimately, I would like to devote more of my time towards my healing practice. I most likely will always have my foot in the entertainment industry but I would like to transition a little bit out of that world.
My intention, however, is to eventually have an Academy or a formal training program in Los Angeles for professional intuitives.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a healer. My abilities have always been a part of me since I was a little girl. I was no older than 4 years old when I did my first healing.
I am trained in a multidisciplinary way, so I bring an integral approach to healing and wellness for my clients. I received my holistic health training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and I am a member of the International Association for Health Coaches and am board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
After graduating, I studied Herbal Medicine at the Herbal Academy of New England and am a certified herbalist.
I also received training at Amen University under Dr. Daniel Amen, receiving in-depth training in neurobiology, practical neuroscience, and how to perform, read, and apply brain SPECT imaging in order to improve your mood, memory, behavior, attention and emotional health.
I am a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Certified Practitioner with the HeartMath Institute.
Currently, I am in the Masters Program at the Academy of Intuition Medicine® to be a master healer.
I practice a holistic approach to health, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected – physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually – to fully integrate the health and wellness of the mind, body and soul.
I specialize in working with the body’s subtle energy systems by teaching you how to balance your chakras, remove energy blocks, clear harmful energies, address ancestral or past-life traumas, and create a healthy, protected energy system. I also assist people in eliminating many negative beliefs, ideas, experiences and trauma that have hindered them in finding happiness, balance and success in their lives.
Every month, I facilitate Sound Bath Meditations all over the Los Angeles area with Loci Romano and Jackie Brubaker. We are called The Sacred Sisters. We offer guided curated sound healing ceremonies which can include things such as a Cacao Ceremony, Reiki, Intuitive Readings, Bodywork, and special guests.
Throughout life, I found myself constantly pulled towards the healing work as people were always seeking me out for help. I can say that I am truly in my joy when I can assist people to blossom into their fullest expression, authenticity and potential.
The path to how I got here professionally was not an easy one. You can only take people as far as you‘ve taken yourself. Healer, heal thyself. Doing the inner work is not easy. You have to be able to look at yourself with an honest lens and have compassion for yourself for wherever you are on your journey. Few people take this road because it’s not an easy path, but I can say that it is a truly rewarding one. To be able to move through life with ease and grace, as Dr. Francesca McCartney puts it, is to dismantle your ego-identity to discover your true self so that you could live more joyfully and a truly authentic life.
Another challenge I have had to overcome is the heavy responsibility that comes with being a healer. Which is why it took me so long to fully step into it. I have had many people literally put their life in my hands. I have deep reverence for the intuitive gifts that I have and I am grateful for the people who entrust me to guide them, but it took me awhile to just trust my journey and its unfolding.
What do I want the world to know? The life you want is waiting for you. As Steve Jobs said in his powerful speech in 2005 to Stanford University graduates, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life… Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many things to see and do in the Los Angeles area. If I had a friend visiting, the beach would be at the top of my list – Paradise Cove in Malibu and the Original Muscle Beach in Santa Monica. I love this cute section in Venice called Abbott Kinney. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants to go to there like Great White and The Butcher’s Daughter, which are places I love for brunch or lunch. For dinner I love this restaurant on the beach called The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu, where we could watch the sun set while having dinner.
The Griffith Observatory is a fun place to visit. It has a great view of the city and what’s cooler than checking out outer space? I love a good concert at the Hollywood Bowl or for some laughs I love a good comedy show at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood or Flappers in Burbank.
Some of my favorite restaurants are in Los Feliz, like Atrium and Mirate. And a couple definite dinner spots would be Crossroads on Melrose, and Bottega Louie and Gracias Madre in West Hollywood. Another beautiful dinner spot is the Castaways in Burbank.
Los Angeles has many museums like the Getty Villa and beautiful gardens like the Huntington Gardens, Descanso Gardens, and the Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents, Ben and Tessie, for the love, support and encouragement they have showered me with throughout my life and still continue to do. They are my rock.
I also want to dedicate my shoutout to my kids, Ferris and Elle, who are the reason why I get out of bed each day and who are my driving force in life – my heart and my joy.
