We had the good fortune of connecting with YB Terrion and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi YB, how do you think about risk?
I look at it like this: we only have one life to live. Personally, I don’t want to spend my life being the person that played it safe and never took a chance or never took a risk. To be honest, those people/artists are the ones that last the longest and are remembered. The ones who did what they wanted to do instead of playing it safe, that’s who I want to be.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The thing I am most proud of and most excited about, at this point in my life, is the fact that I get to be my true self, unapologetically. Where I am today is a result of a lot of persistence, let downs, trial and error, and fight. The things that I have faced in life would absolutely crush the average human being. I thank God that He designed me to withstand various attacks and situations and show others how to make it through as well. That’s what I want the world to know. Even though we go through stuff, there’s always a way out. Once you make it out, show others the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When I’m not working, my go-to spot is the LA/Hollywood area, hands down. I love being in these areas because you find so much inspiration that you can easily build your craft off of. While I’m in town, we absolutely have to hit a burger spot. Yes, I have my personal favorites but I also like trying new things – even though I get nervous. After we eat, we need to hit Hollywood Blvd, or Lucky Strike, tour the Grammy Museum, or go to Universal Studios – mainly for the studio tour!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are two groups of people I always shout out in any interview or conversation. That’s my family and my team. If I didn’t have either of those groups, I would be lost and making a lot of dumb decisions.
