Hi Shiva, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I owe our success to the unity of us 3 siblings and us sticking to our values such as honesty, hard working, quality of our products, and giving best service to our clients. These values were taught to us by our father as we always worked with him while living in Italy. We learned so much from him and that’s how our characters and values were shaped.

What should our readers know about your business?
Di Stefano Italy is run by us 3 siblings, Shiva, Shawn and Stefano. We thrive as a family business, and provide high end ready and custom made clothing from Italy. Since China took over the clothing market about 15 years ago, we lost some business but we stayed loyal to our made in Italy and eventually came out stronger than ever. We work with Entertainment and Hospitality industries as well as retail stores and private clients. Nothing compares to made in Italy clothing and since we are a family owned business without middlemen, we are able to offer the wholesale prices to our clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you come to downtown Los Angeles to purchase suits from us or go to museums, Shekarchi restaurant in our area has delicious mediterrean food and kabobs with great service.
In Beverly Hills my favorite restaurant is Il Pastaio. They have authentic Italian food which has been consistent over the past 20+ years. My other favorite place to visit is Caruso’s outdoor shopping mall in Pacific Palasades with great restaurants. I also love driving on PCH for its amazing scenaries towards Malibu as well as going South to Laguna Beach or Newport Beach area for its mesmerizing beauty. They are nothing short than Europe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to our beloved father who suddenly passed away 2 months ago. He was the biggest fan of us 3 siblings/partners. He was the one who taught us value of family, unity, honesty, as well as loving others and treating them the way we wanted to be treated. After the Islamic Revolution in Iran, he took us to Milan, Italy, where he had business and could provide for us. He embraced their culture and taught us to love it there. Therefore when later we moved to the USA, we cherished this Great country and considered it our home right away. We are forever grateful to our father for having brought us to free countries, letting us enjoy life and humanity.
