We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Brasil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolina, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
As Carolina Brasil, a resilient entrepreneur with experience in the entertainment industry, my perspective on risk-taking has evolved over time, shaped by my journey of navigating the volatile world of Hollywood and business. Here’s how I perceive and approach risk:

In the initial stages of my career, my focus was primarily directed towards establishing my presence in the competitive landscape of Hollywood and building my entrepreneurial endeavors. My commitment and dedication often resulted in an imbalance, with work taking precedence over personal life. This period was marked by long hours, relentless dedication, and a single-minded pursuit of success.
Over time, I began to witness the toll that this imbalance was taking on my physical and emotional well-being. Burnout, strained relationships, and a waning sense of fulfillment
Now I am very vigilant of my time with my family my love ones and myself.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have Always loved Business in general, even when I graduated from the Royal academy Ballet of London, very Young I decided to create my own Ballet studio. Art was always involved in my Life, but don’t take me wrong, my studio was a business machine on the second year I had 180 students. From Bailarina to Fashion designer …. after I sold my studio and left Brazil I started to design my own clothing and bikinis, when I notice that I was getting attention from lots of girls asking about where to by my bikinis, I created the Carolina Brasil swimwear and in my first month I sold 700 pieces, that’s when I decided to take serious and marketing my company and even register in the Miami international university for fashion design, after that I had my company for 15 years, and sold 7 years ago. I Love creating business from nothing, my mind is always thinking….

Nowadays

Carolina takes particular satisfaction in the launching of her production and promotions company, Stone Horus, a couple of years ago alongside her Business partner/attorney Anselmo Martini. Together, they have been creating content and also handling product placement and brand integration in different films and TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and Two and Half Men, among many others.

Carolina also handles her other company, Crossing Networks, which connects foreign actors with productions in Hollywood and handles all the PR and Press, working with 15 U.S. and international magazines and Google News partners to promote clients in the digital space.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say Brazil is a great place to visit, but the specific place in Brazil is RIO DE JANEIRO
one of the most beautiful place in the world
we have ocean
mountain
water fall
lake
and a jungle inside of the city
and the people is so happy!!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Since I was a Teenagers I never understood why everything that I started to building I always got attention from people that wanted to take from me, when I grew up and I had my ballet studio they tried to sabotage so many times, even when I had my swimwear company after 13 years of my company I brought one girl to be my partner on the company and she was only there to get all my clients my ideas and even my team… I was devastated, because I helped those people so much, even nowadays in my currently business in the film industry I see this happening… I am saying all that just to mentioned that I could never have done without 2 people to give me strength to look to the other side and push myself to be creative and make something new and better…. GOD that never ever left me, and my MOM that was my balance with her loving words.
so many times when people sabotage me instead that react with rage I reacted w Love.
Thats why so many people describe me as Phoenix…..
