Meet Sade Dae Jones | Serial Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sade Dae Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sade Dae, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Besides from working for myself, my daughter has contributed heavily to my career decisions and success. I didn’t want to continue to trade my time with her to work on others dreams. My mother passed in my life early on and I was determined to create a life that allowed me to spend as many days that I could with my daughter.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m proud of my business because I’m a single mother from Cabrini Green, raised by my next door neighbors and I’ve come this far! According to statistics I wasn’t supposed to get this far! I’m very proud of that! I’m proud to walk up to my office everyday knowing that when those doors are open many people are able to feed their family’s, these same people are learning and growing with me!

My journey hasn’t been easy, there has been many ups and down. I’ve taken some huge hits on my business but I’m a fighter and I have to remember that giving up means giving up on me, more importantly my daughter.

I’ve learned that you can literally achieve anything that you put your mind to. My businesses motto is that we’re firm believers that you can be anything that you put your mind to and I’m a firm believer of that! I stand by that! Through my brand I’m hoping to bring the believer out of people with similar backgrounds as myself.

With my firm, I use knowledge and experience that I’ve gained to help others who may not have had access to this knowledge or the experiences.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my besties were in town, I’d set up a spa day at the Aire Ancient baths, I’d do a sip and paint at Pinots Palette, we’d do lunch at Nobu rooftop (I love rooftop vibes) and good drinks. I work so much so I love a fake boujee vibe where I can relax and do close to nothing but drink and eat with my girls. Pinots Palette is a must, it’s great for painters of all levels, it’s very relaxing, and they serve drinks 🤣 Aire is a great place to relax and reset. They have ancient baths, facial and massage experiences. The Nobu rooftop in Chicago reminds me of being in LA, it’s a big vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
While working at a bank I built a strong relationship with my manager and he introduced me to the tax industry and my life has changed ever since then. I’m really grateful for him, without him I would’ve been still stuck at my 9-5.
