Meet Davi Stefond | Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Davi Stefond and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Davi, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I love acting! I’ve always had an artistic mind since I was a little kid. Being able to play roles that id never actually be in real life, and play pretend is something my inner child loves. Being able to inspire people with certain roles and effect people from all over the world I think is so beautiful. I don’t see me doing anything else with my life, I’ve always just been a creative person. The ability to disappear into a role, and learn new things about the character, and within oneself. To change people’s mind on how certain things should look , should be, should sound.
Even though certain roles may have not been in my actual life, acting allows you to understand people more, and be able to really connect.
Understanding people’s stories and why they are how they are. It’s such a beautiful craft to deal with emotion and can be an outlet and really bring a strong performance, and let the audience know that I know actually what you’re going through. I feel this craft in my soul,
And I refuse to leave this earth not
Doing what fulfills my soul. I think everyone should do what they love.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im just at the beginning of it all, but Iam very blessed and thankful that I get to do this art form, and so thankful people trust me to portray a character in their story. I think with any career there’s challenges, I try to always stay positive however, I think the biggest challenges when I first started pursuing my acting career, I had no connections, not a lot of money, and just a dream! I’m a military veteran , so my discipline is there. Lessons I’ve learned is to shoot your shot for whatever you want to do in life because you never know whose watching. What I want the world to know about me, is that you don’t have to look like the “typical” Hollywood type to make it, and that no matter where you come from, what you look like,. your dreams are valid.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite sports in the city are – 1.Smorgasbord in downtown Los Angeles
2.Definitely would love to take them to a show at the pantages theater, love “moulin rouge”
3. Go on a hike at Griffith park observatory
4. Farmers market
5. The grove
6. Silver-lake
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d want to dedicate my story to all creatives out there who are pursuing a dream or have a dream. We grow up not really being really taught to dream. Yknow? Go to school, graduate, get a degree, get a good paying job. It’s the most common thing, and it’s comfortable. Going after what your heart desires and not just the status quo can be scary, challenging, and unsure. I think every single person should do what they love , and be allowed to! Sure there will be obstacles, but I think that’s part of it, it’s not always the destination it’s the journey, and growing and learning even more about yourself and reminding yourself why you’re doing this , and what makes you happy about the creative job that your pursuing. Sometimes people who aren’t in a creative professional don’t understand it, or get it, and one can feel alone and misunderstood, or not receive that support because it isn’t always the isnt route.
It has to come from the soul, and you have to live breath and sleep it. I think every person should reach for the stars despite what others around them may think.
Doing it because you love it.
So shoutout to every single creative out there, keep going, and if your goal is to change the world with you art! Let me have it!
