Hi Simone Cheri, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When it comes to risk-taking, I believe that being brave enough to step out of your comfort zone is crucial. Taking risks requires a willingness to embrace uncertainty and face potential challenges head-on. By being brave enough to take the risk, we open ourselves up to new opportunities for growth and success. Ultimately, it’s about having the courage to pursue our goals and dreams, even when the path ahead may seem impossible. Risk-taking has played a significant role in both my life and career. By being brave enough to take risks, I’ve been able to seize opportunities that have led to personal and professional growth. Whether it’s been pursuing new career paths, creating projects, or simply stepping outside of my comfort zone, I’ve seen the impact that taking risks can have. It has enabled me to push past limitations, overcome challenges, and achieve success in ways I never thought possible. Overall, embracing risk-taking has made a huge impact in my life, and I’ve witnessed immense growth as a result.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
My background as a comedian and actress has provided me with a unique perspective and skill set in the world of art and performance. It has shaped my approach to creativity, communication, and expression. What has set me apart from many people is that I am not afraid of being myself, I’m not afraid of putting myself out there. I can truly laugh at myself, and I love that about myself. I am most proud of being consistent and never given up no matter what life has thrown at me. I’ve always been consistent with pursuing my passion. It took me a long time to get where I’m at now, I’m not exactly where I want to be but I’m proud of how far I’ve grown in so many ways. The challenges that I’ve been through and are still going through has made me more stronger and disciplined. The lesson that I’ve learned along the way is to have faith. I want the world to know that you have to truly trust the process , we all are so creative in our own way and we need to truly step into our purpose in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I feel like LA is a great place to visit. We really have the best weather. I would definitely have a beach day. Go to a brunch spot then after brunch head to a day party. Los Angeles has some good hiking trails with some beautiful views. I definitely will go to a sports game whether it’s the LA Dodgers, Lakers, a football game, and even a hockey game be lit too! It’s a city that truly has something for everyone to enjoy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When it comes to giving credit to those who have played a significant role in my life, I am incredibly grateful to my family, friends, improv group, and the support of many others.

My family has always been my rock, providing unwavering love, encouragement, and guidance throughout every stage of my life. Their support has been instrumental in shaping who I am today, and I am forever grateful for their presence.

My friends have also played a vital role in my life, offering support, laughter, and companionship during both the good times and the challenging ones. Their friendship has enriched my life in countless ways, and I am thankful for each and every one of them.

Additionally, being part of an improv group Bernie Mac & Cheese has been transformative for me. It has provided me with a supportive community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for creativity and collaboration. Through our shared experiences and performances, I have learned and grown immensely, both personally and creatively.

Lastly, I am grateful for the support of many other people who have crossed my path and made a positive impact on my life. Whether it’s mentors, teachers, colleagues, or even strangers who have offered a kind word or gesture, their support has not gone unnoticed, and I am thankful for the role they have played in shaping my journey.
