We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tasha, how do you think about risk?
“No risk, no reward.”

This is a saying I wholeheartedly believe in. Without an attempt, there’s no way for it to happen. Yes, there are different levels of risks. However, it’s usually, the greater the risk, the greater the reward.

Taking risks in my life/career is how I got to where I am now. I wouldn’t have featured in NYFW, Elle magazine, or Glamour magazine without taking risks in my business. There are no guarantees in life so you might as well step out on faith.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are excited to announce that STFU is about to step into the retail scene! After 4years online, we have decided it was time to bring y’all our items extra close and personal. You will still have the ease and convenience of ordering online, but now you’ll have the option to receive your items faster by purchasing in-store!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A nice area to visit, outside of the hustle of LA, would be downtown Pasadena. Lots of places to shop, eat, and create memories!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There have been many people over the years that have put effort, support, love, mentorship, and encouragement behind me. Today, however, I want to dedicate this shoutout to my fiance Maurice. He humbly steps in like a personal assistant to make sure I have what I need for a successful result. I would lose my head if it wasn’t for him! So thank you for everything that you do!
